As we enter November I wanted to share Bill Bolde’s latest project. Anyone who knows him knows that he has always loved sports and loves the Lord. He found a way to combine the two as he chose to write about 52 Christian men and women who proclaim Christ as their savior. It is an especially interesting devotional filled with amazing stories that clearly point to “only God.” If you know someone who loves sports, I highly recommend it. I also think it would be a great Christmas gift for anyone who knows the Lord but also for those you may be witnessing to as it is filled with scripture and how God has done miraculous things through talented athletes yet who are just ordinary people at the end of the day. Everyone tends to hear the words “don’t blink” when a child is born. This is the ultimate understatement. We have loved every minute of every season with our beautiful and intelligent girl and could not be more proud. We look forward to the next chapter as we know God will direct her steps as we were comforted from the very beginning of her life as we prayed “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.” 💙💛🎓 taken in CBU by @jbolde

He’s Baaaack!! I have truly missed this guy! It is always important to find whatever brings you joy even in the midst of the darkest trials in life. The last 2+ years of disappointment and torment have only fortified our resolve in serving our great God. 2 Corinthians 4:9 says we may be “persecuted but never forsaken, struck down but not destroyed.” All praise be to Him who sustains us and many thanks to our multitude of friends and family members who lifted us in prayer and provided much needed encouragement. New chapters await. Fresh opportunities are on the horizon. God takes us down some dark paths so that we can get to and fully appreciate the destination He has in store for us.
