🎀 ALBERTSON SC | OCTOBER IN PINK 🎀

All October long, our Albertson SC teams wore pink with pride in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗⚽️

Together, we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand united in the fight against breast cancer. 🎗️

💗 A MESSAGE FROM DIANE CRUZ-FITERSTEIN
Albertson Treasurer & Survivor

“Thank you to all our Albertson SC families for supporting this important cause. Proceeds collected through team budgets for the Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts will be donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Research Foundation on Long Island, supporting breast cancer research.

Albertson Soccer Club greatly appreciates your support!”

Thank you to our players, coaches, and families for wearing pink and helping make a difference, both on and off the field. 💗

One club. One cause. One community. 🎀

Tonight was a full-circle moment for me as a coach: student vs. professor, trainee vs. trainer, mentee vs. mentor. 📖📚

Bryan, it was an absolute pleasure, and I’m not going to lie, it was also a bit emotional. Eleven years ago, when I first came to Long Island, you took a chance on me and gave me my first job. You took me under your wing and modeled the kind of coach I would eventually become. I remember it like it was yesterday—you evaluating me New York Cosmos at the JMF complex. I was amazed at how one person could instill so much confidence in others, not just the players, but the staff too. Your genuine desire to push me, challenge me, and make me feel like I could achieve anything never went unnoticed.

Things have changed since then, but you have always been by my side for every step of my professional career. You constantly pushed me to dream big and gave me the tools to fight for those dreams. I owe you a lot, dear friend, and I don't know if I can ever repay you for your years of guidance.

So tonight, I’m giving you your well-deserved flowers. Your passion for coaching and player development is a trait I continuously try to emulate. You made me fall in love with the purity of the game and the coaching journey.🎉

Thank you, old friend. I hope I made you proud today because I sure had a lot of fun. Apologies for putting you on the spot—I know you prefer to stay behind the scenes—but the world should know that you, B, are truly one of the good ones.

Forever thankful 🙏🏽 by @jbolivar101
