This one starts a long time ago in Texas. And every word of it is true.

1 million streams on Spotify. 🤍

Seventeen months ago there were zero.

Thank you for every stream, save, share, playlist add, kind word, and even the occasional insult good enough to put on a T-shirt. 😂

Still just trying to tell a good story.

Next one drops Friday. 🍀

Turns out a lot of you know exactly what I mean by this one. 🧡

If these first few days are any indication.

Listen to “The Good Just Changes” 🎧

Ain’t no bar stools on payday. It’s car pools and play dates.
“The Good Just Changes” is out now. 🎧

Huge thanks to @kevinveatch for bringing this one to life on bass, drums and B3. Couldn’t have asked for a better musical partner on this track.

A lot has changed between that picture and this porch. That’s kind of the point.
It used to be just you and me. Turns out, it still is.

“The Good Just Changes” — out Friday. 🎸🧡

What happens when a Georgia girl marries a Tennessee boy? 😂

You rewrite the first verse of “Wondering Why” by @redclaystrays obviously.

A little Hatfields & McCoys. A little SEC football. The whole crowd singing along. And somehow they still ended up dancing. ❤️

Apparently, “That Girl” came down the mountain and caught a flight to the Canary Islands. 📻🌴

We just discovered that the song has been playing on terrestrial FM radio, including regular rotation on Mix Radio 101.1 FM in Gran Canaria. It is wildly cool—and still a little hard to believe that people have been turning on an actual radio and hearing my song. Thank you to the stations playing it, and everyone for listening. ❤️📡

Behind the song: “That’s Not Me.” 🎹📝🎸

It started with a line in a notes file, made its way into a writing room, and eventually became a song built around a contradiction: the verses feel sad, while the chorus opens up and sounds hopeful—even as the guy singing it keeps telling himself things that probably aren’t true.

A little writing, a little chord nerding, and a look at how the song came together.

Written with @macarimcintosh and @kevinveatch.

And yes—the tux is the same rented tux from the “Wondering Why” wedding video. We shot both that weekend. 😂🤵‍♂️

Trying to cook up some new music.

The corgi has other priorities. 🪕🐾

New songs are in the works… assuming the producer approves this banjo take and someone throws the ball.

A few days after release of "I Am Your Home" and I just wanted to say thank you. 🤍🏡

Thank you to everyone who's streamed it, shared it, added it to playlists, sent a message, or told a friend about the song. It means everything.

A special thank you to @ryanlanestudios for helping write this one, @laynefarrar for the beautiful cover art, and @officialfcmusic for the mentorship, love, and support throughout my musical journey.

If you haven't heard it yet, the link is in my bio. 🔗🌙

The years change the colors. The lines tell the rest.

Best Indie Folk for Missed Expectations.
