✨NEW FOR KERRANG!✨

I've been wanging on about it for days (please know that I will continue to do so for a long time after this, too) but now you can get my fullest thoughts to date on the incredible Bear Stone Festival 2026!!

This was an absolute honour to write, not just because it's the magazine I've loved for half my life, but because it allowed me to discover one of my new favourite places on the planet. Thank you to the incredible @marin.lalic for creating this utopia.

Featuring the likes of Elder, Austin TV & Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, I talk about some of my highlights and try and explain just how magical this place is. The words could never do it justice though.

Follow all of these bands and of course the festival itself!

✨🖤BLUDFEST YEAR 2🖤✨

What a glorious day yesterday at Yungblud's BludFest! Great music and immaculate vibes while I interviewed a whole bunch of the lineup.

Some very exciting work coming soon, including a partnered piece with Meta (the Meta AI RayBans are absolutely amazing, btw).

Thank you also to my dawg @thisisdanmc for being the best hype man and cameraman for the day. We're going to be dropping loads of content so be sure to give us a bunch of follows and likes!

🔥New for Kerrang!🔥

Last week, I had the distinct honour of speaking to Johan Hegg, frontman of the mighty Amon Amarth, all about Norse mythology and how it informs their epic thirteenth studio album, The Allfather Awakens.

Oden, Mímir, Sleipnir, Huginn & Muninn, Kvasir, Galar & Fjalar, Suttungr - they're all here. I've always been fascinated by Norse mythology, but to get to discuss it with a genuine expert on it all was a bit of a bucket list moment (not to mention he's the frontman of one of the kings of melodic death metal...)

Link in Stories and bio. I'd love it if you'd give it a read, because this is a personal highlight.

Thank you to Johan for his time and expertise; thanks to PR queen Jazmin for hooking this up; and thanks to the boss man Nick for trusting me with this one.

Oh, and go listen to The Allfather Awakens. Shit's wicked.

New for Kerrang!

I sat down with @heavyxeyes aka Harry Nott of @burnermetal last week to talk all things No One Is Coming To Save Us.

We talked about the writing of the album, about the weight of *everything* feeding into making this their heaviest work to date and about getting those incredible features on just their second album.

I want to thank Harry for his time, openness and honesty; I don't think I've ever experienced such vulnerability and willingness to get into the weeds of these topics quite like he did, and I'm super proud to have worked on this one.

Give this a read at the link in my bio and Stories, spin No One Is Coming To Save Us (Kurtz is the best song of 2026, btw) and let's band together, because we've gotta force the change we want to see by ourselves.

🗣️ New Kerrang! magazine is out aaaaaand ya boi is in there.

I spoke to the frankly delightful @fl3shcr33p for the Introducing section and even though I had the worst, most embarrassing technological issues conducting the interview, I'm really pleased with how this piece came out, because they're thoroughly wonderful human beings. Big up to them, and go spin their EP, Glimmer.

Other great bits throughout the mag of course, like an in-depth chat with definitely-not-Charlie Simpson (👀), seeing what Rou Reynolds gets up to on the road, the new age of RØRY and why Skindred are still one of the best live acts in the UK right now.

Go get your copy, support all the writers and the staff because shit is rough out here, and go listen to/buy from/follow all of the artists featured in the issue.

Good night, god bless, love youuuuuu 🖤

P.S. Up the RNLI 🙌
