Our beautiful brown-eyed baby girl made her journey across the rainbow 🌈 bridge this past week. It’s taken a lot for me to actually post.
Penny was our OG baby. She was our constant for 15 years and 3 months through so many of life’s milestones. When Matt decided to get his MBA, I finally convinced him I needed a fur baby in our apartment in Dallas. He was the one who found her online from a breeder in Weatherford, TX.
She was quirky but she loved her people and the boys. She made multiple moves with us in DFW and then back to LBK. While in Dallas, she loved her jogs by lakeside park in Highland Park and through downtown Dallas. She loved to ride and go to the ranch. She was the boys guardian and loved to cuddle in bed. The house just doesn’t feel the same. Thankful for Papa and Maw for helping care for her this last year. She had her way of winning them over 💜
Sweet PenPen, thank you for being you and being by our side for so many years. Still wasn’t long enough! I know your sister Bernice greeted you with spins and a playful tug of war! Love You and Miss You Always 🤍 by @jbvance

Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad 🕊️ Hard to believe it’s already here. So much has already surpassed since this time last year and yet everything almost feels like time has stood still for me. Honoring you this weekend at the Motley-Dickens Old Settlers Ranch Rodeo feels surreal but also brings a sense of comfort.
Don’t worry . . . I brought your favorite coconut cake 🎂 and a balloon to send up to you this evening 🎈

One year ago today, the man I consider the Strongest Cowboy in this World fought like hell through treatments and illnesses to attend this event. I was so proud of him and still am! Miss each day and Love You!! 🤍
This event connects so many people for a very unfortunate reason, but through one mission, vision and the dedication and commitment by many, we can make a difference!
