It occurred to me that the Dixon races start soon. It would be cool to have the bike running for at least one this year, so some late night inspiration to try out a simple idea for brackets for the rear sets.

The current goal is to get them spaced out from the frame the amount I want and level with my feet while looking sleek.

The next task is figuring out how to attach them to the frame to where the brackets are removable. I have a few ideas. by @jbw3ld

@toyroomgallery and I picked up a couple flatheads for the roadster build that @jhagggg and I got going on.
We will find out what we are getting ourselves into soon by @jbw3ld

Made a 2D drawing in AutoCad of what I’ll be doing with the moped build. Leaving this here for reference. I’ll be sharing progression pictures as the bike looks more and more like this drawing. by @jbw3ld

This will likely be my last feeder bowl related post since I start a new job next week, but I was able to get relatively far along with this bowl.
You can kinda get the idea as to how the parts are supposed to ride in the selector (the third picture) and by the end of the bow they will all come out riding on their flat side in the 5 lane machined track I made (the last picture)

Everything seen in these pictures was entirely built by myself. I feel that with this bowl has so far been my best work. by @jbw3ld

This might give ya a better idea of the design of the selector. The parts on the flat side will fit under the blade and the parts that do not conform riding on their round side are too tall to fit under it and will fall off.

In the second picture you can see I’m adding that screen stuff so that all of the powder from the parts that are breaking apart will fall off of the track. by @jbw3ld

This will all make sense later on. In the process of making adjustable selectors. 5 lanes for this bowl. Ya can see a confinement and a floor for this back piece in the works. by @jbw3ld

Been making some progress. This one has been my best work so far. I’ve been building this faster than the other bowls and have been far more particular aesthetically by @jbw3ld

One of the things that’s been a challenge for me is to weld in these particular walls at the floor of the bowl rolled along the edge of the track and then blend it out as if it was all one molded piece. Lately I’ve been getting it down fairly well. This is the most recent wall I’ve put in. by @jbw3ld
