Alright yall here’s my voice recital from this past semester! Be gracious with me there’s a lot of leaps and turns in this so it’s definitely still a work in progress but I felt like it was still worth sharing☺️ by @jbynum.arts

It’s that time of year again!😁This semester for my voice recital I sang “Waiting for Life” from Once on this Island. I still have tons of work to do to master this powerhouse of a song but I’m extremely proud of where I ended up with just weekly 30 minute voice lessons. Enjoy!🏝️❤️ by @jbynum.arts

A huge thank you to the creative team, cast, and crew of this production. This was my first experience as a sound board operator, and thanks to the support of my professors and the amazing leadership of stage manger @ellie_moyer12 it was a breeze. My second responsibility on this production was to ensure the illuminating light boxes pictured were fully functioning every night. Let’s just say I got a lot more independent experience with my power drill thanks to those babies. 😂 I look forward to more opportunities to gain more skill in technical theater as the next @hputheaterdance MainStage season approaches!☺️ by @jbynum.arts

Thank you so much for the Undergraduate Scholarly Interdisciplinary Research Grant for “Theatre of the Mind: Simulating Psychiatric Patient Encounters with Student Actors”, an interdisciplinary effort between Theater Department and the School of Pharmacy!🩺🎭

A special thank you to Mackensie Chapman(Pharmacy Student), Doug Brown(Professor of Theater), and Shaina Schwartz(Professor of Pharmacy).

This collaboration has created an amazing partnership between our two prosperous programs. This is an avenue for pharmacy students to work on connecting with real patients and strengthen their empathetic nature. Theater students experience a niche performance environment in the medical community. On both sides students gain hands on experience and can offer each other dialogue that is not often awarded to patients and their doctors. I look forward to updating you all as the research begins!☺️ by @jbynum.arts
