Year 2 of Shift Ultimate in the books. Unfortunately only have footage from day two of sectionals due to weather. Nothing too exciting to post. Program took some major steps forward this year. I also stayed healthy for a larger percent of the season than I have since 2019. 😭 Dirty James will return in Avengers Doomsday. #ultimate #sprint #defense #shiftultimate #midwest by @jca13f

Nabbed a bookend this past weekend at Cooler Classic vs Demo. 💨 Felt pretty Shifty. Hi, I'm Dirty James and I approve this message. #ultimate #veo #sprint #defense #offense by @jca13f
My guy @spinflickpull threw me an absolute dime this past weekend at Heavyweights 🤙🤙💸 Let's go Shift! 🗣 #ultimate #ultimatefrisbee #sprint #run #illinois by @jca13f
Expect a lot of ultimate posts this year. Gotta make up for years of unrecorded play. Also, there's a better quality clip of me from this weekend on the fourth slide. #shiftultimate #ultimate #summer #clubultimate #illinois by @jca13f
Swipe for slow-mo. In the words of the late great Stacy King, "I wanna go HIGHER." It's not the craziest play I've ever had, but I have little to no footage of me playing in the first place 😭 #ultimate #shiftultimate #sky #jump #tuneup by @jca13f

First full season of club play ✔️ complete. Grateful to all my teammates and captains for making this new team possible. After 4 years of major back issues, busted knees, and torn tendons; I was phasing ultimate out of my life as something I felt I could no longer be healthy enough to enjoy or pour my time and effort into. When the team began spreading the word of incoming tryouts, I was encouraged by friends in the club community to keep competing, and told that I was still capable of playing at a high level. After some rehab for my knee, I attended tryouts and was offered a roster spot. While I wish I had stayed 100% for a larger portion of the summer, I was still able to stay on the field for the whole season and contribute to a team that exceeded its first year expectations. Thanks @shift_ultimate Shoutout to @historypro24 & @notacanadian72 for pushing me to keep playing. #ultimate #clubultimate #shiftultimate #regionals by @jca13f
Sometimes, I went to places that weren't the gym in 2024. #photographer #2024 #travel by @jca13f
Go follow @crystalfreakinclear if you want to see the rest of the photos I post. I may have climbed a mountain.... It was pretty difficult, like being on a stairmaster for 5+ hours. We started late in the day, so no casual pacing, just hustling to make it up before dark. Worth the sweat though 🥹 some glorious views. Had an awesome trip, more photos to come from this week and the whole summer. Completed lots of trips this year. This was supposed to be a collaborative post, but alas, I've once again been foiled by instagram's poor design. #nature #naturephotographer #naturephotography #landscapephotography #landscape #photographer #photography #mtleconte #smokeys #smokeymountains #appalachian #appalationmountains #mountain #mountains #sunset #fall #autumn #climb #workout #legday #fujixt4 #fujifilmxt4 #fujifilmphotography #fujifilm #sky #viral by @jca13f
