Restored - ‘the act of becoming whole again’

To me, it’s a new wholeness. I have learnt that life will humble you, but how you choose to cope with the climb back up is going to fundamentally impact your restoration. This album is my story - a fall, a humbling, many lessons and the biggest reset in a collection of songs for the world to hear.

I have experienced two of the most emotionally, mentally and spiritually intense years which have changed the trajectory of my life, for the better. Musically, I was inspired by the faith and story telling of my grandma, the grace of my nanna and the sounds of a plethora of artists such as Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, IMRSQD, and Cece Winans. My relationship with God and awareness of my spirituality have shaped my lyrics and my development as an artist. The ability to be as simplistic as possible, to enhance my child-like wonder has increased my honesty with myself. I no longer feel the need to over-explain anything - just the need to live and be.

I started writing this record when I was in the lowest of lows in my life, betrayed by my choices, heavy with self doubt and in a place of emptiness. I’ve been writing in the most unconventional situations, representing the way this journey has unfolded for me. My life has changed, I no longer will allow the situations I am in to dictate who I am. I am strong, beautiful and I have been restored - to the glory and honour of God Almighty.

Thank you to the most incredible team I’ve worked with over the last two years - @allbreedagency, @jcalmade and @cesare_rp. Your guidance, support and knowledge has made this such an easy process.

Thank you to my creative team - @gnarlynando, @alexandria__lee and @graceymay.mua. In what felt like a rushed day, became such a core memory for this album rollout.

I hope you all enjoy the songs and can relate to them on some level - happy listening and I love you all so much!
