Hello All! We are super excited to share with you that our video clip of our recording of Limbo Lounge is out on YouTube! Link is in our bio! Thank you to everyone involved! Special thanks to our two videographers: @thespacecaveman and @clyderhanna by @jcancer_trombon
22nd of January is the release date of our first Single. Limbo Lounge by Florian Magnus Maier! It's been on the making for quite a while and I am super proud of the result and super emotional. This has been a dream of mine, and I couldn't have done it without the beautiful members of @slidesupensemble , @rouzbeh_esfand our mastering engineer, @dorisenhetgeluid our mixing engineer , @anvlka our recording engineer and @thespacecaveman our videographer (video coming soon too, and that too will be dope)! Also huge thanks to @jcancer_trombon for when I said " I'd like to take creative control of this piece " he said " Go for it, I trust you ". And you know what? I went for it. #musician #trombone #music #metal #recording by @jcancer_trombon

Call back post coming up! The project, or rather the idea of it, started almost a year ago, and now it has officially closed one chapter! @slidesupensemble recorded its first pieces! Not gonna make this long, I've said my thanks to our wonderful colleagues numerous times, but @giorgos_dk_ Thank you for your professionalism and amazing attitude, even when @avid.protools decided to prank us.... @thespacecaveman and @clyderhanna, thank you for the amazing pics, and I can't wait to see the videos! Hope your hearing is not, too..., bad after 9 hours in the studio with us Love you all ❤️ 📸 1 : The only one we managed to get without looking too goofy 📸 2: I'm not going to say what we were yelling there, but as you can see, it was funny 📸 3: Will I get canceled? Maybe. I guess insta will tell me P.s. see how this post has the same tune as the one after slide factory? Full circle. 🤯 by @jcancer_trombon
ENG After two years of inactivity, we figured the joke had run its course and that it was time to come back together again. But since just doing concerts wasn’t enough for us, we decided to go back to studying (no joke). We've spent this past week in Münster, where our dear Óscar is based, rehearsing and preparing for the Master's audition we've had this past Tuesday. After our first micro-concert in Germany and having taken the entrance exam, we can now announce: IYOKO will be studying a master’s degree in chamber music at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, starting next academic year with professor Mark Hampson. by @jcancer_trombon
😊 ----- I'm taking advantage of the time at the airport before returning to the Netherlands to show a little bit of what I've been doing this last month, which has gone by so fast that I almost didn't even have time to get used to it. Not only have I been getting a tan and eating rice (which I have too), but I have had the pleasure of collaborating with the orchestra of the Palau de Les Arts in Valencia for a whole month full of Ravel and his L'Heure Espagnole, and Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, in between Nacho Perez Cabedo and Juan Manuel Real. It has been a great pleasure, thank you very much for the invitation and for welcoming me, a big hug! 😊 by @jcancer_trombon

Three pieces for solo trombone. II - M. Padding A throwback to my performance of the second piece this work by Martijn Padding in Het Orgelpark during @moonstone____________ 's performance "In my beginning was my end" last December. It was a great pleasure to join this project, playing such cool pieces as this one or the original compositions by Amarante Nat, which are coming soon also❤️ Link to YouTube video in my bio! @het_orgelpark @antoinecourtoisparis @bachbrass #antoinecourtois #bachmouthpieces #newmusic #cool #classicalmusic #trombone #tromboneplayer #netherlands #amsterdam #linkinbio by @jcancer_trombon
