After 6 years and 70,000 km, my FIGS Engineering LCA bushings were done. Thanks to Gemini, I managed to find an EU supplier that, according to AI, supplies FIGS with the bushings. This saved a lot of time and hassle with customs. Bought SuperPro bushings and installed them last week—they worked great!

Road trip to 🇱🇹 and first 1,000 km on KW V3 done ✅ Definitely a significant improvement over stock 2008 suspension. Currently on the soft setting and maximum ride height for daily duties, which is more or less the same as stock height. Much less crashy over harsh bumps and more suitable for our 🇱🇻 roads.

Just hit 190’000km with ISF. Getting close to a round 200k, but still running strong!

Going for annual service and installation of KW V3 coilovers 🤩 Will try softer setting and the highest position, as close as possible to stock height, as Latvian roads are not the best and I need to drive on cobblestone roads frequently.

KW V3 on the way for ISF. Unfortunately it will take 3-4 weeks until delivery 😬 At least this gives me time to find other “while you in there” parts.

7 years of ownership 😅! Still enjoying every ride.

Looks like it is time for coilovers, as rear shocks are starting to leak after 18 years of usage. Not looking for dropped ride height or anything stiff, therefore leaning towards KW V3, to keep as close as possible to stock height.

A month ago went to a dyno with ISF to check the power levels.

Results:
- 400hp @ 6’904rpm
- 474nm @ 5’061rpm

Results seem to be similar to dyno I did back in 2020, despite adding XForce exhaust and deleting secondary cats.

Aaaand its gone! This was short but fun experience. For the price it is difficult to find a car that would be more fun than this Mini Cooper S JCW. For the first time I felt, that I had to sell the car too early, but it was not a viable option with two kids and a stroller.

In my short stint manage to cover 4’000km, did few laps on the track and dynoed the car. Pretty much sold the car for what I bought. Will miss the Mini JCW exhaust with burble 😃
