We are excited to be returning to Utah with our absurdist romantic comedy short, JAVA JIVE, which will play New Year’s Day at @theutahfilmfestival!

This story is rooted in the strange, shame-tinged experience of growing up as a religious minority in a culture that doesn’t particularly care for you. Ironically, we aren’t sure it’ll screen anywhere BUT Utah.
😂 Guess that remains to be seen… Nonetheless, we’re excited to be back!

Join us on Jan 1 at 1:00PM MT for the block titled “Unexpected Companions” at the @midvalleyperformingartscenter in Taylorsville, UT to see our film on the big screen.

Entirely immersive and unavoidably real, Sam Cardon’s score — with assistance from @gavinmcmahan — is the glue that bridges art and life in this genre-bending chiller. @madelinekayharris takes a deep dive into the music of @burgindiepictures film ‘The Angel’ at ProvoMusicMagazine.com!

We’re thrilled to bring THE ANGEL back home to Southern Utah yet again for @horrorfestinternational, where our feature script for THE THIRD WIFE was nominated. Run by our friends at @fmasu_official, this is one of our favorite festivals, are we’re stoked to play in such a great lineup.

THE ANGEL will screen Friday, September 19th, at 11 AM MDT at the Electric Theater in St. George. We’re honored to open for the Dutch feature film HERESY, which will be a very fitting pairing.

Tickets coming soon!

Feeling super grateful to be featured in @tmrwmag with some of my favorite photos ever by @webergriffiths (link in bio) Also, shout out to the powerhouse that is @zachcolliernoise (who is building a million different cool things) for involving me with tmrw. I'm excited to collaborate on more ventures soon 🙏

THE ANGEL has been one of the most meaningful and creatively wild things I’ve ever been a part of and it’s just the beginning 🔥

Lots of new projects in the pipeline (some I’ve been dying to make for years). Can’t wait to share more soon 🎬 by @jcelenefilm

We are returning to Indianapolis, Indiana for the @gen_con Film Festival! Our film will be screening as part of the Fantasy Short Film Block at @thewestinindianapolis in Capitol Ballroom III on Thursday, July 31st at 5:00PM.

For the first time, our film has been categorized as a “Dark Fantasy” rather than a “Horror”. As THE ANGEL is played by Indianapolis native @actordougjones, who has so often worked with the fantastical filmmaker @gdtreal, we feel the genre designation is fitting. There are a lot of niche rules for testing angels in the Mormon supernatural world that we will be sharing.

One of our directors, @barrettburgin, will also be participating in the “Film Pre-Production Panel” that same day at 2PM at the Westin Council.

Many thanks to Chuck Budreau and the rest of the Gen Con Film Festival team for including us in such a fantastic lineup of films!
