This week will mark the end of my food residency @tianteahouse and @moonbar.kc for now. Many thanks to teams at both concepts and @saranyat for the support. Since this is my swan song if you will, I decided to go extra. @spambrand spam marinated in sweet chili and Thai Sriracha sauce, soft barely set Parmesan chawanmushi egg, gold nori, red curry garlic oil rice, and of course a lil cheese. The best thing I've ever done is turning 16 today. He's the best of both @bananamaxwell and I. From the first time I held him to the day I leave this earth he will always be my proudest achievement. I love you so fiercely and unconditionally. I always make sure to say I'm proud of him and I mean it every time. Happy birthday son from your boring mean dad. I'm a pretty lucky guy sometimes. Thankful for friends that made hot dogs and buns from scratch AND delivered them in this heat. Thank you @its.lisanguyen and @harpbarbecue for the glizzie delivery. The boy said quote, "best meat missiles ever" by @jchang.kitchen
