The very talented editor Kat Knight has joined our @movinglikepondwaterfilm! Here we are in September immersed in the complex process of editing and the deeper meaning of this film is being revealed. I’m very excited! Updates soon.

@katgknight works across feature-length documentaries, network series, and web-based branded and commercial content. They are passionate about telling character-driven stories, often centered on social justice and human connection. Moving Like Pond Water is incredibly fortunate to have Kat with us during this critical stage of the creative process. They bring their own special alchemy to the film. ❤️🎬

GOOD NEWS! I am working with editor Kat Knight to shape years of interviews, performances, observational footage, archival material, and still photography into the feature documentary Moving Like Pond Water about veterans, creativity, and the complicated experience of returning home after military service.

There is still considerable work ahead, including editing, animation, archival clearances, music, sound, color correction, and accessibility materials. If you would like to continue helping, one of the most valuable things you can do is share this project update with someone who may connect with its story.
