Today was not a fun day! Had to be woken up by my acting manager to come in to work at 7:15 in the morning (manager not to blame…. Contractor downsized on numbers and that backfired…. Forced to come in)! Got off work, riding home, chilling to my music and hit an uneven part of the highway….. Thought it was nothing until I had to get into the exit for I-287 from Route 1. The moment I start to hit the curves, something is scraping under my car. Pulled to the side of the interstate, went under to find that my muffler broke off from the front section of the intermediate pipe! Can’t separate it since this is a Chrysler vehicle (12 years old), so I had to ride it out on the highway, and drive extra slow on the streets until I got home. Now I have to cut this ⚠️🤬⚠️ off two-ways to stop it from pretending to be hanging fruit. My daughter is supposed to be hanging out with one of her aunts this weekend, so now this is slowing me down from me and my wife having PARENT’S NIGHT OUT! The small starter string on my small genny is acting tangled, so it’s not letting me pull it to start it! So now, I needed to find all my extension cords, plug them together just to use a reciprocal saw to cut this pain out my life! Haven’t eaten since 9:30 AM, dranked a coffee to just spike me up until I got home, and just dropped mini-me off and just got back home to pig-out on BBQ wings! Now I gotta look for a new muffler and intermediate pipe, and hope my neighbors will accept my apologies for my vehicle currently sounds like I got chimneys stacks under it from now on.

Prayers for the death of my silent driving comfort! SMH! by @jckingpin201

At my church, meeting with New Jersey Senator Cory Booker during our “Shiloh Outdoor Service”! To still see this man working reminds me of times I met with him working with the mayor I served under (as a Division of Cultural Affairs, Recreational Aide), Mayor Glen D. Cunningham. Also great to see Mayor Mapp and other members of Plainfield’s City Council be apart of our outdoor service. Had to video direct our service for our virtual members today. Today was a great day for service! by @jckingpin201
