Another goal realized.

Its a blessing when you have friends that believe in you and trust your work. A major goal for me when I started building was to have my actual friends play my basses.

Last night, my long time friend and brother @dwiskingbeef_official commanded the stage with @missjillscott at @kingsbklyn in Brooklyn. He was inclined to use my Heirloom bass for a portion of the set, and I was floored. He played the heck out of that bass, and it sounded so clean and articulate in the room😤

Ms. Scott is serious about her art, so there was no filming or pictures during the show. But i was able to catch a pic of Dub just before soundcheck with the Heirloom.

All in all, the show was awesome. If you get a chance, go see my brother and the crew when Ms. Scott comes to your town. Everybody was killin!

I'm always grateful for opportunities like this. I don't take them lightly, and I don't take it lightly when someone trusts their careers with my instruments. Being that it was an actual friend of mine makes it even better.

Thanks again Dub🤙🏿

Special shout out to Jake at @stringsbyaurora for being "Jalen Brunson" clutch with the strings. I appreciate you brother. by @jclefbasses

First Cable in this new collaboration with @jclefbasses ! These connectors are from the cut off scraps from this bass (photos 2, 4,& 6) We hand cut and turned them and then made the cable. The cable is in our Tan color and is 15’ feet in length. I would say they look great together! Can’t wait to see them on stage! #tsunamicustomshop #tsunamicables #collaboration #bassguutar taken in Temecula, California by @jclefbasses

The smallest details usually take the most patience.

This custom @jclefbasses guitar inlay started as separate wood pieces, carefully cut, fitted, glued, sanded, and finished until it became part of the instrument itself. No shortcuts. No stickers. No printed graphics. Just wood, precision, and a steady hand.

For anyone who loves custom guitars, this is the part you don’t always get to see: the quiet, exacting work behind the final shine.

Which part of the build would you want to see next: the shaping, the finish, or the full guitar reveal?
