Fun little alteration to elevate your hats! Got this trucker at @hogtownvintage.to

I used a seam ripper, that I got at the dollar store and an old hoodie rope. I made a small incision along the brim attachment point, Popped the string through and tied it off, big enough that it would stay in place. Cut off the excess string and you're done!

🧡 Today is important...
I wear Orange for my Grandfather but also wear military green to honour the contributions he made to this country while not being accepted for the colour of his skin. My siblings and I are unclear as to what our indigenous roots are due to the fact that he was ashamed to speak on his childhood and heritage. I've taken on this responsibility to learn who our Biological Great Grandmother is as I feel he was taken from her and forced into an Irish/Scottish family dynamic with full intention of removing his indigenous roots. There are no current records of him being anything but "White".
I am working to uncover the truth so I can honour, acknowledge and speak proudly for him and my father.
I never physically met him as he passed before I was born but I know he's with me in everything I do 🧡

Hi! Just decided to go live. This is the result. My daily goal is to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. This definitely is that! If you watched it or are checking it out now, I appreciate you more than you know. ✌🏻❤️

Gonna start a little appreciation post series of friends I have in life and in this social space

Starting with Sarah,
@ruggedflix
.
A Best Homie, I love and adore greatly. She just started posting again after many years and the impact it's had on others has been special. Being vulnerable online isn't an easy thing and seeing her share her true self has created a safe space for others to feel confident to open up and do the same. It's beautiful and I'm grateful to be a part of it ❤️
