POSTS STORIES REELS

Sitges so far - yesterday was so thrilling - starting out a ball of nerves before my big pitch, then feeling confident on stage, to 23 back to back industry meetings, and then ultimately winning the Frontiers award!! This experience could not have gone any better - and I never would have dreamed it would go this well. Can’t wait to pitch again at @fantasiafestival next summer, and thank you @sitgesfestival and Annick for believing in me and The Lambing! Two more days but now I get to relax. by @jcorsie

Our new film directed by Vincent De Luca will release this summer.

It follows Rafael Larraenza, a volunteer rescuer who has spent 30 years risking his life searching for lost migrants along the US-Mexican border.

Photo shoots aren’t really my thing but I think I finally found my pose at @filmquest by @jcorsie

After eight years of work, @desert_angel_film is finally available on Amazon Prime Video!

From our director, @vdeluc shoes literally melting off in the desert heat to this moment, it’s been quite a journey.

Of all the projects I’ve worked on, this may be the one I’m most proud of. I feel incredibly lucky to have played even a small part in bringing Rafa’s story to life. He is, in my eyes, a modern-day Jesus Christ, and his compassion and humanity are nothing short of extraordinary.

Especially with the election just around the corner, this story feels more important than ever. I hope it teaches people that small acts of kindness matter - and that all humans deserve dignity no matter where they come from.

I really hope you’ll take the time to watch. And if you do, please let me know what you think.

9/14 Free @desert_angel_film screening @filmindependent + conversation with director/producer @vdeluc , editor and TFTV alum @jcorsie after
📍@landmarktheatressunset

🏜️it was an insightful documentary about a volunteer organization Desert Angels led by a man Rafael who has dedicated 30+ years of his life finding missing immigrants dead or alive who cross the US border, the terrain ranges from desert to mountains etc from California to Texas 🌳I think this screening was free to promote its release on something, so check it out

I also learned they started this film in 2018 and finished 2024. In the film the Desert Angels also found a skull and other remains so RIP that was sad, i was surprised they picked it up with their bare hands🫴💀

Fun fact, parking was almost $16 but apparently my car is a skinny legend and fit through the arm so yay😝🤫i had bought stuff at Trader Joe’s before to try get extra 90 min validation since the theater validates for 3 hours but maybe they don’t stack together like i hoped🤔

We’ve officially hit PICTURE LOCK on @driventoexplorefilm 🚀

After working for 3 years to tell this story, then filming the whole thing in a 12 day cross country road trip shoot kicked off by a historic and epic launch of Artemis II, this post production experience has been so joyful and fun!!

Thank you to my wonderful collaborator editor extraordinaire @jcorsie our wonderful producer @fleurdegigi and our film crew who made it happen @fafavienne & @itsashleymaria! It is an honor to tell @nasablueberry & @gracemajuri’s story!

We are far from done with the film, but this is a big milestone in the process and we are so proud! Coming to you in early 2027, stay tuned for more info on our release!

And we are seeking finishing funds, we need more support in order to finish this wonderful film that celebrates women in STEM! If you know any individuals, grants, foundations who might want to chat about this and get on board lmk 🚀

Nearly 15 years ago I set out to make a “little movie on the side” with some friends. We worked nights and weekends for years, really having no idea what we were doing. That little side project grew into something much bigger as people from 20 different countries chipped in to help get it made. We made incredible lifelong friends along the way, and the little side project has now been watched in 163 countries.

To the people who trusted me with their stories: thank you. You let me into the most vulnerable parts of your lives and the film exists because of your courage.

To every friend and family member who contributed along the way, you know who you are. Thank you. I couldn’t have done it without you.

And to anyone just discovering what trichotillomania is, or just discovering it in yourself: I see you. You are not alone. This film is for you. There is real freedom in accepting ourselves for exactly who we are.

This film changed my life. It inspired a cross country move, a career shift, and a path I never could have predicted when we started. It’s my first born, and I’m endlessly proud of it.
