2025 was…something. Here’s some cool stuff I’m proud of 🤍 🏠During the summer, Dani and I moved in (together!) to a beautiful home in Tiffin, and I got to polish my plumbing, electrical, and renovation skills 🪠🛠️🔌 🐾Juju and Equinox (Noxy) joined the family! 🐈🐈‍⬛ Juju was a “Buy one House, get one cat free” deal, and Nox showed up on the first day of fall 🍁 🎓I graduated with my BA, and got hired at @tiffinmusic as Studio Manager and Arts Creative Lead. I spent the summer acoustically calibrating Studio A and the Band Room, and completed an incredibly rewarding Fall semester teaching TMS with the amazing @malikmallard 🔊 🎶 I played some incredibly fun gigs and traveled to NAMM 2025 with my dear friends @recessofficial. Cannot be more excited to see where these insanely talented people end up in 2026 🥁📸 🌴Had a blast traveling to LA a second time during the summer with @eli_zaleha, networking with some incredible people 🤝 When we weren’t traveling, I helped Eli engineer his debut EP Glimmer, and helped film a sick music video for Code Blue @zaleha.mp3 💙 🤠 I joined Free Wild on drums playing some wicked Americana music, getting to practice and perform with some of my favorite people @hopesprite_music and @jeremiahliggett_, all under the direction of the infamous Martin Koop and Steve Williams 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛ 🧍🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️Hanging out with my EIGHT nephews and nieces whenever possible is always a spectacular time, and it’s truly an honor seeing these amazing kids grow up 🧠🫆 🌵 Traveling to Phoenix, AZ with Danielle for her bridal seamstress conference, meeting some of her family in the area. One more state checked off the bucket list 🏜️ 2025 had some real low lows, but it was the people around me that kept me going through them. If you spent ANY time with me this past year, even the little moments (especially the little moments, actually), just know I appreciate you so much; I might not be here without you. Thank you for an unforgettable year. If you think I might be talking to you here, I probably am. I love you [gender neutral version of dude]👊 And now, I’m going to go play with my cats. JD Bride, Bachelor Of Arts 🎓 Walking across the stage didn’t feel real. I never thought I’d be here. In 2020, I was only planning on taking a few music courses on the side…but I graduated in the fall with a Dual Concentration as a Commercial Music Major, and walked across the stage at commencement last Saturday. I never dreamed I’d get to work on and create so much incredible music, videos, and all kind of projects with the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. Or that I’d get to travel, perform, and explore far away from my hometown, all in the name of creativity and art. I never thought I’d spend so many nights screaming and cry-laughing about Jackbox games and Overcooked, or stay up until 8am talking about how dumb feelings are. And I certainly never thought those same people around me would become my closest friends, my biggest motivators, and my support system. My reasons to keep going even when nothing made sense. As someone that grew up here, I have my fair share of feelings about the town. But without it, and without Tiffin University, I wouldn’t have found what I was made to do. I’ll always owe a lot to this intimate commercial music college in the middle of a cornfield. But I owe even more to my ever-supportive family members, my mentors that kept me on the right track, my awe-inspiring peers, and my life-changing friendships. I literally, actually, genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. Whether you’ve been here for me all along or we met along the way: thank you. 5 years, a complete industry and profession shift, two name changes, a Kinsey scale plot twist, a quarter life crisis, and infinite convo attendance cards later… we made it. Cheesy as it is, this is my love letter to you—and it’s barely a fraction of what you’ve given me. You mean more to me than I can ever describe, and I can never thank you enough. The next 12 months of my life are going to be the scariest, most exciting yet. I’m already doubting every choice along the way, and feeling my heart pounding with every step. But as long as I have people like you around me… I know we’ll be okay. On to the next adventure!! :) taken in Tiffin University by @jd_bride

PLEASE come support new music in Tiffin!!! I’ve been planning this concert with @maddiehuwe and @brad_rees_ for months now, and it’s a miracle it’s happening at all. This is a brand new initiative to get fresh, local, up and coming bands to perform at the East Green Amphitheater, and the success or failure of this show might determine whether we ever get a chance to do something like it again. If you want to support new music, it’s now or never. SUPPORT. It’s free. If you can’t show up, REPOST the poster. Let’s show Tiffin we support local music!
