Learnt from the best! The best being northern Woodland & Swampy Cree guys who grew up relying on saws for daily living whether on the trap line or the fire line. Not only did I learn how to safety fell trees from these guys but I keep in regular contact with them meaning, when it comes to felling a particularly challenging tree I’ve got these guys to consult with. This is a bolt, it’s a long bucked up section of a fallen tree, used primarily for felling practice. Although not really a useful product for home owners this is what all Provincially certified chainsaw operators must practice cutting before the real thing. #safety #efficiency taken in Rural Municipality of Buckland No. 491 by @jd_customtreecutting
