With it being World Mental Health Day, I wanted to share my fundraiser for Mind 💙

You never really know what someone’s going through. Man or woman, we all need someone to talk to sometimes. There’s no shame in saying you’re struggling, and you don’t have to wait until things get really bad to speak up.

Check in on your mates and the people you love, and take the time to listen.

I’m still working on myself, and having the London Marathon to aim for gives me something positive to focus on. Raising money for Mind makes it mean that bit more.

Thanks to everyone who’s donated already. If you fancy supporting me, the link’s in my bio. A share helps too 🙏💙

I’m proud to announce that I’ll be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Mind! 💙🏃‍♂️

Mental health is a cause that means a great deal to me. With serving six years in the British Army, including two tours of Afghanistan, I’ve faced my own battles with PTSD, loss, addiction and rebuilding my life.

This marathon is about challenging myself, becoming the best version of me for myself, my two children and the people I love, while helping to ensure that nobody has to face a mental health problem alone.

My fundraising target is £2,500. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean a great deal. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post or my fundraising page would help massively.

Thank you for supporting me on this journey. The training starts now! 💙

To donate, please use the JustGiving link in my bio.

Bit more progress on this extension today 🧱

Most of the brickwork on this one is being done overhand due to limited access.

Added a quick tip in the video for anyone doing overhand work too 👌

A bit of overhand brickwork. Restricted access along the boundary makes it a little more challenging, but we’re still making sure every brick is laid properly and the finish is spot on. 🧱👌

Great progress on this extension project!!!

From clearing the site and digging the footings to installing the drainage, steelwork and pouring the concrete oversite—everything is starting to take shape.

A lot of hard work goes into the stages you won’t see once the job is finished, but getting the groundwork right is what sets up the whole build.

Next up, we start building! 💪
