Just over 20 years ago, Starlite Motel put out their last album Ex-Libris and I moved to Athens...bringing my #emo days of jumping off of speaker stacks came to an end with my boys @jdenson , Harry, @jeremiah_c5 , and @benjaminhomola .
I found some old tapes and put together a "Rarities" album with live takes, unreleased songs, and demos from those fun 4 years. That album, along with the 2 #StarliteMotel full lengths, are now up on all streaming sites! You can now enjoy the good, the bad, the Doodle Poodle! by @jdenson

Four years. Four years ago you said “I do”. The fact that you still say it today makes me the luckiest man alive. Four years doesn’t sound like a long time, but we’ve sure packed a lot of living into those four years. From traveling the world to surviving diseases and surgeries and everything in between. We’ve found a stronger love in some of the darkest places. There’s no one I’d rather face the beauty and challenges of life with. You’ve made my life a wonderful and beautiful life. I’m so excited for our future…the places we’ll see, the laughs we’ll share and the memories we’ll make. Thank you for choosing to love me better every day. I’m gonna love you forever! Three years. In some ways it feels like three days, in other ways it feels like forever. I guess that’s a good thing when your love still feels fresh, exciting and new and at the same time it feels like it has been seasoned and fortified over ages; a love that has become a “place” that is so comfortable, safe and secure. Your love is strong, fiercely loyal, and so giving. It’s more than I deserve and I’m so over the moon grateful that you chose and still choose to give it to me. Thank you for loving me as well as you do. So here’s to forever. As we continue to dream and move forward allowing God to guide us, we’ve only scratched the surface. This moment…it was everything. Even though we were surrounded by so many people that we love, in this moment you were the only person there. I have lots of hopes these days. I hope that I find a way to dance with you forever. I hope that I can show you the beauty in life like you’ve shown me. I hope that I can bring you joy like you done for me. I hope that I can bring you strength the way that you bring me peace. I hope that when you look back on our life that it’s not full of memories of stress, fear and worry but rather good, cherished memories of love, adventure and laughter. I hope that God grants us the ability to live a long full life together. I believe I have a good shot at all of these hopes coming to pass, because somehow I got you and you exceeded all of my hopes and dreams. I’m so blessed. I have you, the best kids in the world, amazing family and friends. God has been so good to me I couldn’t dare to ask Him for more…but I can hope 😁.
