On Friday night, I hosted a gathering with some close friends of mine and did a gift exchange with my pal who is also a content creator and a geeky nerd like me. Needless to say, my jaw dropped when @gravemortem handed me this as a gift he picked up from @emeraldcitycomiccon earlier this year. The story goes he was at the con and at one of the merch tables, he saw this Green Ranger Power Coin (the source of all Power Ranger powers if you didn’t know). At first, the coin grabbed his attention, knowing how big of a fan of Power Rangers I am and in particular, the Green Ranger. When he looked up after seeing the coin, to his surprise, Karan Ashley (the second yellow power ranger from the Fox Kids series) was the person at the booth whom he bought it from! Super badass because the coin has some weight to it, a design of the dragonzord on the back and contains English and Kanji for text, which means this goes back to the Super Sentai days I believe. The words on it gave me hope, encouragement and light when I got it, but today, they are quite eerie and chilling... “The prophecy has been fulfilled” I wrote this post last night, but didn’t get a chance to make it live before I headed to do my stream and then went to bed right after. This morning, I woke up to the horrible news that one of my very first idols and childhood heroes has died by his own hand. This doesn’t seem real to me, JDF was a positive individual that brought joy to the hearts of millions of fans. He was known as the guy that would take the time to talk with anyone and everyone he could that was a fan and it’s going to forever burn me that I never got a chance to meet him. I wasn’t wanting this coin to be a tribute post, but it’s quite fitting I suppose. Rest in Power, Jason David Frank aka The ONLY Green Ranger and the #1 Power Ranger of all time…🐉💚 #rip #ripjdf #restinpeace #restinpower #greenranger #powerrangers #powercoin #itsmorphintime⚡️ #dragonzord #emeraldcitycomicon #myhero #mightymorphinpowerrangers #gogopowerrangers by @jdknonstop
With a lil bit of inspiration from @bizzymind & @honkinwaffles, I’ve started streaming on #twitch via my #PS4. Currently finishing up my 1st run of the #ff7remake (picking it back up again from where I left off at the haunted train yard), then will be streaming my playthrough of the #re3remake shortly thereafter. Not sure where this will go and for how long, but it seems like fun so I’m going with it. Check out my channel via the link in my bio! #streaming #cloudstrife #twitchchannel #finalfantasy #residentevil #videogames #letsplay by @jdknonstop
