❤️ SOMETIMES THE SMALLEST GESTURE CARRIES THE MOST WEIGHT

One of my favorite questions to ask brought Jonathan Dolphus to someone who showed up for him during one of the most difficult moments of his life:

Who made a difference in your life when you needed it most?

His answer was someone behind the scenes named Helene.

During one of the most difficult moments of Jonathan’s life, there were a million things that needed his attention. And sometimes, when you’re carrying that much, it isn’t the grand gesture that gets you through.

It’s someone simply saying, “I got it.” 🙏

Helene stepped in and took one thing off Jonathan and his mother’s plate when they needed it most. What may have felt like a small act to her became something they would never forget.

That’s the thing about impact. We don’t always realize when we’re making it. ❤️

Sometimes just being who you are, showing up for someone, fixing what you can and making their load a little lighter can mean more than you’ll ever know.

And somehow, Gary Dolphus still found his way into the story. 🥹🙏

🎙️ WHEN THE VOICE YOU LEANED ON BECOMES THE VOICE WITHIN YOU ❤️

I asked Jonathan Dolphus to tell me about a time when life wasn’t going according to plan and how he found a way to overcome it.

His answer brought us back to his late father, Gary Dolphus. ❤️

Losing his dad meant losing someone he could call for leadership advice, wisdom and perspective. But in an interesting way, Jonathan says he hears his father’s voice now more than ever.

As he navigated grief while also helping lead a historic merger, he found himself leaning on the lessons and examples his father left behind. 🙏

For Jonathan, it became about finding peace, removing emotion from the task at hand and focusing on what needed to be done.

Think about everyone involved. Find the best path forward. Keep moving toward the bigger goal.

And when you’re trying to bring different personalities, cultures and perspectives together, that mindset matters.

Sometimes the people we lose stop being the voice on the other end of the phone and become the voice inside us that keeps us moving forward. ❤️

Some words hit differently when the person who gave them to you is no longer here. ❤️

One of the last things the late Gary Dolphus told his son Jonathan was that having the title was no longer enough.

Now it was time to BE the leader.

Not just carry the title. Show up more. Read more. Strategize more. Do the work.

Then, while Jonathan was grieving the unexpected loss of his father, he found himself helping lead one of the biggest moments of his professional life, the merger that would create the largest REALTOR® association in the world.

Different personalities. Enormous responsibility. Major decisions. And through it all, he kept going back to that conversation with his dad. 🙏

He had watched his father lead countless times, including during moments when leading was probably the last thing he wanted to do.

And suddenly Jonathan understood…

This was the moment his dad was preparing him for.

Sometimes the words someone leaves you become the words that carry you. ❤️🙏

🎤 Next up on our Lunch with Leo On the Road series!

From pizza to merger with 2027 Chairman Jonathan Dolphus. 🍕🏡😂

You’ll have to catch the pizza story on my podcast, but for this conversation, I wanted to know what Jonathan is most excited about as we head into 2027.

For him, it starts with bringing two organizations together and continuing to build the continuity needed to truly operate as one. 🤝

There’s also a tremendous opportunity ahead to keep advancing our MLS, expand the tools, products and services available to our members, and make sure that everything we’re building ultimately comes back to one thing: serving our membership and giving back. 🙌🏽📈

Leadership is about service, and there’s a lot to look forward to in this next chapter. 🔥

🎙️ Today at the table, we had the privilege of sitting down with Jonathan Dolphus, Team Leader of the Dolphus Group, powered by eXp, and Chairman Elect of the largest REALTOR® association in the world. 👏🏡

Our conversation explored what true leadership really looks like, and how the best leaders make serving others their first priority. 🙌

Jonathan shared the importance of faith and prayer, and how both can provide guidance, strength, and purpose. 🙏

At the heart of it all was family, putting the people who matter most first and never losing sight of what truly matters. ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Every closing tells a story, and this one is all about growth. 🏡✨

Congratulations to my buyers on closing their new home at 17356 SW 21st St, Miramar, FL!

Their goal was simple: create more space for their family and the next chapter of their lives. While upgrading from a smaller home to a larger one is exciting, it also comes with a lot of moving parts. Having the right plan and the right team can make all the difference.

I’m grateful they trusted me to help navigate every step of the process, from strategy to closing day. Now the fun begins as they turn this house into a home filled with new memories.
