🚨🚨 JUST ANNOUNCED 🚨🚨

Local educator and author, Jason Douglas, will be bringing his Ringo Award-winning Best Graphic Novel Jane American to A to Z! Jane American is a World War II, small town America rip-roaring adventure and heart breaking coming-of-age tale in the vein of Superman For All Seasons and Archie 1941.

Jane American is brimming with the universal and relatable themes of identity, self-worth, you being you in a world that tells you something different; while exploring the appropriate for ALL ages concepts of friendship, isolation, family, super-heroics, and standing up for what you know is right even in the face of self-doubt and insurmountable odds!

Stop by, grab your own copy, and meet the author himself! by @jdouglaswrites

Original graphic novel Jane American is now available in new editions from our Papercutz imprint wherever books are sold! Creator Jason Douglas spoke with Lansing City Pulse about this dream project--full article at lansingcitypulse.com

"English teacher and Michigan State University alumnus Jason Douglas promised [his grandfather] that the graphic novel he was writing based on his late grandmother Betty Jane Johnson would be published.

"Douglas kept that promise. Yet his road to publication has been just as remarkable as his grandmother’s story, which occurred in Plymouth during World War II.

"In 2023, Douglas self-published Jane American, illustrated by Annie Wright. Now, the book is published by Papercutz, an imprint of Mad Cave Studios, and distributed through Simon & Schuster." Full article at the link above!
