Evil Dead Burn is the first new Evil Dead since the franchises sudden break into the mainstream with Rise. Directed by French filmmaker @sebvanicek, (who directed an extremely good spider movie I like), this is basically Evil Dead meets French psychological horror. Almost all the comedy is gone which, is kind of important. This film is about real abuse and, that makes it all the scarier. The sound design and gore are, perhaps more intense than any previous Evil Dead, and this is the first of the series to leave me feeling truly horrified.
Gruesome, intense, and, I loved it, I'm glad I got to see this in theaters.
And, on a more personal note, as someone who got abused by, the people closest to me, and used horror films as an escape, this one meant a lot to me. And Alice is amazing AF!!! @souheila.yacoub does a brilliant job in this, and the rest of the cast is fantastic as well! by @jdplaysmoth

Made it out to a showing of Backrooms at the last minute. Was very happy to have watched it, love seeing horror films get lots of appreciation, and the set design and music were fantastic!!

Stuck around to the end for the final scenes of the film, was quite happy with the new addition!! by @jdplaysmoth

The DreamWorks She-Ra is, probably one of my favorite animated shows ever. I absolutely adore nearly every character, and I could and have spent hours talking about how much I adore its themes of redemption and solidarity in the face of fascists and genocidal religious creeps.

But also, on a lighter note, I am a collector at heart, I love toys, I love trinkets, I love things that I can hold and appreciate. And so I've been picking up any She-Ra stuff I can find for a while now!!!
(Also gotta start collecting He-Man stuff eventually xD)

This doll is probably gonna be the crown jewel of my collection for a little while, as even despite her box being slightly damaged, she's super difficult to find unopened, and this is one of the only accurate toys they ever made for the show!
(Although I do love the little fast food toys, especially Hordak)

Next on my bucket list is finding a good Hordak figure, and maybe a nice Evil Lyn eventually by @jdplaysmoth

Predator Badlands was my favorite movie of last year, and I made it my mission to collect as many theaters trinkets as I could from it!! So, here's a photo of me at the theater, where they had a poster up, some pics of the popcorn buckets I got, and, more recently, a keychain that was given out as a promo!!

Dan Trachtenberg has, genuinely done such amazing work reviving the series, Amber Midthunder and Elle Fanning are two of my new favorite actresses, and the level of detail and costuming going into these new films is delightful!!! I love that they're touching up aspects of the worldbuilding that were previously only in comics and novels, and, I'm excited that Prey, Killer Of Killers, and Badlands, have all been such well crafted films so far. by @jdplaysmoth

I just received a package from the Georgia Film Office, of an ARGUS mug from @peacemaker. This mug is signed by James Gunn, John Cena, Steve Agee, Freddie Stroma, Robert Patrick, Danielle Brooks and, tbh it's a little difficult to place but I think also Jennifer Holland?
I am, truly awestruck, and, so grateful to have a piece from a show I adore. And It's, astonishing to just, have this in my life somehow. What a wild gift to have!!🦅

(I'm a huge DC fan and trying to play this cool but I'm legit so happy right now!!! This is so schway!!!) by @jdplaysmoth
