sometimes the process of making something can blind you to how it’s truly perceived by others.

Bonjour 🫡🇫🇷 Fun fact about this sample:

I actually really loved the vibe but I thought it needed more production.

It was made with Purity VST (for any non-producers, it’s extremely basic sounds) & a guitar pedal.

I usually do a lot of technical stuff to my loops & got in my head about how “toy-ish” this one sounded.

I left a note on the file saying “needs more stuff” and forgot to remove it.

When I handed it in to Origin Sound, Dan noticed and was like “wanna keep it? it sounds good!”

And here we are, he was right. 🤣

Vibes win over complexity.
