With SPOT ON, DJ Purpur hosts a night that focuses on community, accessibility and the joy of sharing music. The event brings together artists who are connected by shared values and musical openness.
To introduce the artists who are based outside Halle/Leipzig, both of them will be featured in a short reel. Today’s guest is @_carluschka_
Carluschka is a Hamburg-based DJ who plays house. Full stop. Depending on the night, she moves anywhere between 128 BPM minimal with bongos and 138 BPM acid or prog and also bongos (we love bongos), sometimes with a quick swing into electro & heavy bass. Percussion is the backbone, vibe comes from the crowd, and the Goa festivals from her childhood left their mark. Beyond the decks, Carluschka is the founder of FLINTA Roundtable*, a platform dedicated to exchange and education within the music industry. She hosts radio shows on Sicnal, inviting FLINTA* artists to share their music and join her for conversations and sets. She also runs Two Girls, One Club, an all-night-long format at Golden Pudel Club together with another femme-read DJ.

costaphilly is a @fako5ive original who has been shaping the collective’s sound since the very beginning. Over the years, he’s kept evolving, yet one golden rule has always remained: selection auf die 1. His style moves somewhere between house, progressive house, and those unmistakable 2000s psy-basslines. Whether digging for dusty vinyl gems or weaving in crisp digital cuts, his fascination with old-school sounds guides his selections, always driven by the belief in the power of the right track at the right moment. His collective, fako5, places a strong emphasis on accessibility and operates as a non-profit association committed to keeping their events genuinely affordable for everyone.
