✨MORE ICE CREAM SANDWICHES ✨

Ice cream sandwiches with crushed Crunchie bars and chocolate swirl 🤤 So easy and no churn!

The Biscoff ones were really popular so this is another take. The ice cream is super creamy and does not go icy in the freezer. Add whatever flavourings you like!

Ingredients:
•1x 500ml whipping cream
•1x 397g tin sweetened condensed milk
•3x Crunchie bars (got them on special for 90c each)
•120g milk chocolate (melted)
•1x packet Malt O Milk bikkies

Optional:
•Extra melted chocolate
•Chopped nuts

Method:
•Whip cream to soft peaks
•Add condensed milk and gently beat/fold through the cream until just combined
•Chop Crunchies leaving some larger chunks and fold through ice cream mixture
•Swirl through melted (cooled) chocolate to achieve a marbled effect
•Line a baking tin and place 14 to 16 biscuits face down (as shown in the video)
•Top with ice cream mixture
•Arrange remaining biscuits on top in the same direction as the base layer, but this time face up.

•Freeze for a minimum of 4-6 hours or overnight and slice into individual sandwiches once frozen.

Optional:
•Dip one end in some melted chocolate and roll in chopped nuts

•Keep in the freezer and enjoy!

•We got some of the ingredients on sale and spent $18. The mixture is incredibly generous and makes 16 really thick ice cream sandwiches so each one costs around $1. Bargain! by @jeanette__thomas

In Japan they call it Jimi Halloween 🎃 Costumes that are plain, simple and oddly specific, celebrating the everyday things that happen in life. May this bring you some last minute inspo for tonight 😂 by @jeanette__thomas

Sweet ‘n’ Salty Pretzel Bark

INGREDIENTS:

•400g chocolate (we used half milk and half dark but just one kind is perfect)
*reserve 100g for drizzling over the top

•Mini pretzels (we didn’t measure but a good few big handfuls to cover the choc)

•2-3 tablespoons of melted Biscoff spread to drizzle (you could also use caramel)

•Handful of freeze dried raspberries (optional)

•Pinch of flakey sea salt

*Forget the Crunchie as used in the video! 😂 Definitely NOT required

METHOD:

•Melt the first measure of chocolate in 40 second bursts in the microwave (on 50% power)

•Spread over non stick baking paper to form the base

•Distribute the pretzels evenly over the top - ideally leaving a boarder of chocolate around the sides

•Drizzle over the melted Biscoff (or caramel) followed by the remaining 100g of melted chocolate

•Sprinkle over freeze dried raspberries (if using) and flakey sea salt

•Set in the fridge and then snap or cut into pieces.

So good for Christmas platters or at anytime of the year! by @jeanette__thomas

We discovered this nickname for menopause last year, so in honour of World Menopause day on Sunday, here’s to Cougar Puberty again 🥵 by @jeanette__thomas

Comment to WIN a copy! @vj_cooks has a new cookbook called Always Delicious and she’s bang on with that title 🙌🏼 We made the No-bake Milkybar Cheesecake and then blindfolded Vanya and put her to the test. It was so smooth and delish! (Even with the orange energy powder on the top) 😭😂 by @jeanette__thomas
