another way too late dj recap hehe 🤍🤍 by @jeanmauj
What makes a good dance floor? Diversity, education, people who aren’t afraid of how they look and just let loose and dance freely. no phones, warm lights, smiles on people’s faces, the perfect amount of smoke and the right bass. • What’s the best time to play? I prefer day sets - sunset is always a dream. • What was the idea behind your mix? Showcasing a diverse but housey sound that fits our hungry4 lineups. • Tell us about a magical club moment. PAL Hamburg’s club closing, 11am on a Sunday morning. That was right before the club had to shut down in that legendary location. I played b2b with a good friend of mine, Anton, and at first I didn’t expect much since it was already 11am - but when I walked in and saw how crowded it still was, I knew we could play whatever we felt like and people would enjoy it and have a good time. • How did you start playing music, and what drives you? About 6 years ago, when we started doing events, we also started defining our sound more clearly - that’s when I really had to dive into all kinds of sounds and started understanding electronic music on a deeper level. That’s how I shaped my sound, influenced by so many subgenres. The end goal is always to keep it danceable and interesting. • Anything else you’d like to share? Give out more compliments to each other and share more hugs. Full set on YouTube and SoundCloud - link in bio by @jeanmauj
