Jeb, a July 2024 VUH SICU nurse resident, was a recent DAISY Award recipient. He had the opportunity to be surprised by his SICU peers and leaders, as well as the patient who nominated him, who flew in to celebrate the occasion. According to Jeb, "it was a really special moment that validated that I am a good nurse."

And what made this moment even more special? Jeb had the chance to celebrate with his "core 5"- all of the July 2024 SICU nurse residents that started with him. They couldn't have been happier for him!
