Spring has sprung! Our 2026 Spring Edition of DITG takes place this Friday at Haiku!

As many recall, back in Winter, we canceled the last show during our January installation due to dangerous weather. Since the lost showcase was set to express Springtime, this event made sense as a continuation and completion of the music and writing section of the HOME: AS A VESSEL installation at Revolve. This gathering continues our collective exploration of space, memory, sound, and transformation through collaborative performance and installation.

XIX. REVOLVE x DRONES IN THE GARDEN January Residency is halfway through! As a collective, we have traveled through “Winter” and “Fall”, inside Sonia Norris’ Blue Room & Butterfly sanctuary. This nineteenth installment of Drones in the Garden features a garden buildout by Lynn Fister, plus four altars by Sonia Norris, George Schultz, Sophie Hull, Ash Sierra, Lynn Fister, Patrick Kukucka, and Colby.

HOME: AS A VESSEL, is an installation led by fiber and printmaker Sonia Allie Norris in collaboration with DITG, and continues to unfold for two more Sundays, which represent “Summer “& “Spring”. Additionally we celebrate what “home” is as a photograph, featuring works by myself and George Schultz.

It was a great pleasure to curate this left-field music and literary evening to represent IV. Spring.
A celebration of the season to come! Featuring artists with a unique perspective on what music and writing are capable of when shared in this type of setting. In this post I share images of the altar I made with elements from my own home, and parts that inspired me from inside the community space, plus some information about next Sunday’s Spring artists.
