NEW • Solo show, ‘Ensouled’ by Jedda Daisy Culley

23 Oct – 9 Nov
Vernissage 23 Oct 18H
Performance 25 Oct 19H
by Superb Poetry and special guests

In Ensouled the artist Jedda Daisy Culley’s dripping female abstractions enter into an obscure correspondence with the imagery and diagrams from one section of the Voynich Manuscript. Pink slips between flesh, pigment and apparition; the body becomes a sign without a fixed translation. Emotion gives these forms their urgency. Across centuries, they seem to inhabit a secret spiritual shared space, suggesting a cosmic understanding inherent in our souls or our cells. Not a code to be cracked or knowledge to be possessed, but a collective, endless consciousness—unclaimed, still taking form.

Finissage: Artist-Led Tour with Jedda-Daisy Culley
Saturday 10 October 2026
16:00–16:45

To mark the final days of Australian, Paris-based artist Jedda-Daisy Culley’s major solo exhibition, Lucid Bodies, we warmly invite you to join us at the gallery for a special artist-led tour and conversation with the artist.

Culley will discuss her newest body of work and share insights into the research and lived experience that inform her practice. JEDDA-DAISY CULLEY
‘Lucid Bodies’
Until 10 October, 2026

In 'Lucid Bodies', Paris-based Australian artist Jedda-Daisy Culley approaches painting as a space where the body, memory and imagination continually reshape one another. Figures emerge and dissolve through fluid gestures and luminous colour, resisting fixed identities in favour of emotional and psychological presence.

Balancing figuration with abstraction, Culley's paintings invite slow looking. Each work unfolds through layers of intuition, materiality and movement, revealing the body not as something to be described, but as a living vessel for sensation, vulnerability and transformation.

We visited one of our favourite creative families at their Paris home and studio.

Jedda is a painter guided by colour, light and energy, whose work explores the complex and misleading realities of female experience. Daniel is a hypnotic musician and producer, making music with his groups Midnight Juggernauts and @thedeepfaith, and producing alongside Sébastien Tellier, Kid Cudi, Sophie Ellis Bextor and others.

We spoke about travelling the world with your family, creativity, and the strange and beautiful ways life unfolds when you let it.

Read the conversation at the link in bio.

‘Angelic Dissociation’

My human experience is starting to feel very pickled fairy. I’ve arrived. I’m training my AI in angelic dissociation. What even is a mythology? A manifesto on how I spoon my paralysis demons. I’m in love with my paralysis demon. I am co-creating with the universe dosed in stars, cleansing your brain with the aliens. I’ve made little castles from my buried secrets a pile of all our hopes and dreams pressed against your kissy lips dribbling down my chin. We can live here in this cosmic spit curled up in the wet fold of your eye, the weathered skin of my elbow, my thumb over the bumps and downs of your gums but what I really want is for you to show me what you look like when you die, when you leave your skin behind. Enough of all these beers. I just want you to stop talking, stop trying, just lay down, die and blow my mind. I will stand back to let you explode because I’ve seen through the centre of your forehead, I know you’re a three storey high four dimensional rainbow snowflake. I know you’re more than this skin and chatter. I lay out my studio like a boxing ring. My energetic body. The aliens that visit it while I’m dialled into the rolling heavens, all the mini little deaths that make up existence remind me that this phone, this flesh, this is not all of it.
