Ever wondered why your money doesn’t stretch as far as it used to?
That’s inflation at work.

From food and transport to rent and school fees, rising prices affect everyday life. When costs grow faster than incomes, households feel the pressure — which is why central banks step in to stabilize the economy.

▶️ Watch to learn how inflation works and why it matters.

I always start with “where do I even begin?” because honestly, I never know how to sum it all up.
2025 has felt like a year and a half packed into one.

I got my first job.
I moved homes four times—and the last move finally became home.
All of this in a new country, still trying to figure everything out… and yet, I’m deeply grateful.

Some nights, I cried myself to sleep.
Other nights felt unbearably heavy.

But I also met the most amazing people at my first job—people who helped me navigate Rwanda and life in general. Shoutout to @amy_l_amie , @sandy__wase___, and @olivesights 🥹❤️ I’m forever grateful for you.

Six months later, in October, I lost my job—and I truly thought my world was ending. I cried the entire night, unable to explain the weight I felt. Still, I held onto one thing: God would never forsake me.
My bestie, my person fr @fw_sven stayed on video call with me for 72 hours—crying, laughing, and holding me together. I love you so much, chomiii 🥹❤️ and my family really held me down.

A month later… December came with a miracle.
I got two new jobs.

That’s why my favorite verse remains:
2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Being in a new country without knowing how you’ll survive is terrifying—I won’t lie. But one thing I’ve learned is this: change is scary, but so worth it.
I’m learning to let go, learning myself, learning how to make better choices, and how to be independent. Adulting isn’t easy, but with grace and time, things really do work out.

2025 shaped me. It stretched me. It strengthened me. And I love that for me.

This is only half of what happened—but to everyone who checked in, encouraged me, and believed in me even when I doubted myself… thank you 🤍

As we step into 2026, we enter stronger, wiser, braver, softer, and more intentional.
May this year bring happiness, joy, love, new opportunities, and abundance.

Also… how am I suddenly in my mid-20s?! 😭 Time, relax pls.

Happy New Year, my people.
May God’s blessings and love cover us all through 2026.

2026… you better be GOOD. ✨✨ by @jeddy_paula

📌 As we begin the month of June, I find myself reflecting on everything the past few months has brought. Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. Life has truly been a rollercoaster of emotions — some days filled with questions like, “What’s my purpose?” or “What do I really want out of life?” And truthfully, I still don’t have all the answers.

But one thing I do know? I’m grateful. I’m blessed. And every single day, I’m taking one step closer to understanding who I am, what I love, and what I’m meant to do.

Moving away from a place I once called home into a completely new environment — with unfamiliar food, people, and culture — has been overwhelming at times. But in all the chaos, I’ve found growth. I’ve experienced joy, pain, confusion, and moments of pure self-discovery. Some days are dark, lonely, and draining… but I keep showing up. I keep pushing forward because I know it’s all leading to something greater.

The blessings I’ve seen in this season? I can’t even begin to explain. God has been so faithful, working in ways that I can’t fully put into words (yet). One day, I’ll be able to share it all, but for now, I’ll just say this: I’m thankful. For how far I’ve come, both personally and emotionally. For learning to embrace both my strengths and my weaknesses. For the growth. For the journey. 💫
