There's only one piece of fried chicken left at the party. What do you do?
A. Virtue signal by asking loudly if anybody else wants it first.
B. Take it when nobody is looking and eat it in a corner.
C. Ignore it and eat something else.
D. Proudly take that last piece and eat it with pride.
E. This question is stupid... by @jedtime_stories

OK, OK... I know that I cannot simply just post a photo without giving some long and detailed backstory behind it... but first: Check out Tish and Snooky, the sisters behind the famous Manic Panic hair color line and who had their own Manic Panic store on St. Marks Place in the East Village! I admire anybody who was able to party at CBGB and Max's Kansas City back in their heydays and still make it out in one piece! But damn it, these girls look FIERCE!!! (💫And NO A.I. needed! 💫)

When I was a kid, I actually had dark brown hair. I was too chicken to actually bleach it, so instead I kept trying one Manic Panic semipermanent color after another (the dark purples, blues, and reds) to try to find something that would show up on dark hair. The best I ever got was just a slight colored purple, blue, or red sheen in the sunlight. Eventually I finally got the cojones to bleach my hair, thinking I was so clever to mix Clorox bleach with 99 cent store conditioner for a cheap job. It worked! In fact, it worked so well that my scalp was permanently scarred and my lovely new blonde hair permanently fell out in clumps. But it looked great while it lasted... I think. There are pictures somewhere... Also there's a moral to this story, but I'll let you figure it out on your own. by @jedtime_stories

MODEST MALE EXPOSURE 3: CHERCHE LES FEMMES
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU "WITCH" FOR...!

Great news! The third installation in the Modest Male Exposure series is now ready to hit the big screen. As you may have heard through the grapevine, this one has a horror/supernatural element to it-- in addition to all the usual campy shenanigans with some of your favorite characters!

If you think you're seeing double: To avoid an confusion, my creative collaborator and I have decided to have two separate versions of this short film. CHERCHE LES FEMMES ("Look for the women!") was the original title we toyed with. This version has more characters, more scenes, and some unexpected surprises...

Coming in November. Stay posted...!!!!

I have to give belated thanks to Boy Culture's Matthew Rettenmund for this short video...

Back in June my brother from another mother Angel invited me to see this fabulous documentary about the amazing Robin Byrd. Since Robin (Sorry, but "Ms. Byrd" just doesn't sound right...!) was one of the people responsible for my own sexual awakening (but thats another story...), I was very excited. I thought it was just another screening, so I was totally "slumming it" with a black Tshirt with an appropriately lewd design and a pair of jeans. As I walked towards the theater, I realized that this was not just a screening. It was the Tribeca Film Festival premiere. All of a sudden, I realized I was severely underdressed-- especially because there was a red carpet and a VIP section nearby, and one of my favorite stars was in attendance: Sarah Jessica Parker, who was one of the movie's producers. I kept my cool as best I could... but then when we were seated, I saw the lovely SJP making her way down the aisle. I told Angel, " if she sits near me, I am absolutely going to lose it!" Sure enough, she took the seat RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Thankfully I behaved myself, mostly because the movie was so fascinating. After it was over, SJP and her friend turned around and started talking to us, asking us if we liked the movie. Our conversation was brief, but it was an amazing moment for me.

This wasn't the first time I met SJP. I met her at Lypsinka's 2000 show The Boxed Set, where she greeted her fans outside after the show. Imagine the tiny SJP in the middle of a circle of polite but starstruck gay men who were fascinated by her. She is the kind of celebrity who will willingly pose for pictures with fans... but as bold as I could be, I just couldn't muster up the nerve to have a photo taken with her. Still, our brief conversation was enough for me. Who needs a photo?

Matthew took this short video where you can see Angel and me talking to SJP... but you only see her from the back. Look very closely and you could see her husband, Mr. Sarah Jessica Parker AKA Matthew Broderick LOL!!! by @jedtime_stories
