I’m thrilled to sign with NY literary agent Mark Owen Gottlieb of Trident Media Group! Nearly a decade after pivoting from music life to writer life, it’s vindicating to sign with a top agent and to be making a living at what I love. I’m also proud to have sold my first two books on my own.

Speaking of...months before I signed with Mark, I sold my first novel to Atlanta-based indie publisher CrazedNovelist Books (who made this poster). And I'm so proud to say that my debut novel Mother of Exiles will be released with them in Spring 2027. Based on real events, Mother of Exiles is about a concentration camp of migrant minors an hour south of Miami and a group of activists called Witnesses who rise up to shut it down. But what does it mean to bear witness—and how far will some go to shine a light on atrocity? Preorder available soon! by @jeff.dingler

Found one of these guys recently at work: a spotted salamander! Except during the spring mating season, they spend most of their lives underground, so we were fortunate to see one up close like this! This one was very calm and stoic. by @jeff.dingler

If you had told me this time last year that I was going to be in a book festival with the likes of Pulitzer winners and nominees and authors whose works are on Oprah's Book Club list, I would've said no fucking way. But it's actually happening! Today, the @decaturbookfestival announced its full lineup, and my co-author @thehoodhistorian and I are on the list!!

If you're in Metro Atlanta, please come see our talk on October 3rd in Decatur! by @jeff.dingler

I do so much writing about others—it's so nice to occasionally be written about! Thank you for the great coverage from Atlanta Magazine and to my co-author Brigette Janea Jones for keeping this book tour going!

A crazy good weekend with Brigette Janea Jones at Barnes & Noble Edgewood! What a trip, what an awesome and humbling experience to get to sit in a bookstore and just talk to readers and sign books. It's a dream come true. I can't thank the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area enough. by @jeff.dingler

I'd be lying if I didn't say it's a dream come true to do a signing at a Barnes & Noble!! It was at a B&N when I met Gary Paulsen, author of Hatchet, and first thought about becoming an author. It's come full circle! Come see us tomorrow! by @jeff.dingler
