The narrative follows Quick’s journey after he unintentionally kills a thug in defense of a friend, leading him to serve four years in prison where he ultimately earns a law degree.However, disillusioned by a flawed legal system that he feels fails the very people it is meant to protect, Quick decides to take justice into his own hands, dispensing his own Final Judgment on those he deems guilty.
