My Brother, in our conversation last Tuesday you thanked me for the contributions that I have made to your life in the past 16 years. You stated that you should have done more to repay me. I will place here for everyone to read what I replied to you: In the past 16 years during my joys and my sorrows you were there for me to share the love and the laughter as well as bear the heavy burdens. That was more than enough for me.

Curtis, thank you for always caring and being a part of my life these past 16 years. Ultimately, there comes a time in our lives wherein we have no more tomorrows together. My paternal grandfather Cleo Baxter was born on this day in 1921. He is seated on the left and pictured with his brothers Cecil and Chester and sister Annis Mae. He was a Purple Heart decorated army soldier. He was present for D-Day until the Battle of the Bulge. by @jeffbaxter1966
