I know these comps are built different, but I’m just so happy to finally end up with a medal. From the high of qualis to ending up disappointed — today was finally different 😭

If there’s something I’m worried about as I age — it’s that I fear that my best days (physically) are behind me. It’s a legitimate fear: I’ve seen it how slow I am to absorb new techniques and movements, and sometimes retaining them is an issue. My recovery is also challenged — after last Sunday’s outdoor climb, I was so beat. Nilagnat pa ata ako.

In my 20s, I used to play Badminton until 12 MN, and report to work the next day as if nothing happened. Today, cannot be. Cut off is 10:00 or 11:00 😂

Which is why I am constantly inspired by athletes even older than me, performing at their prime — smashing PRs in their late 40s. I won’t tag them here (baka ayaw nila ng age reveal 😂), but thank you for inspiring us!

Happy Birthday body, lets do this for more more more years 🫡

Rocka Manila 2024 🙌
Joined Men’s Intermediate for the first time

Really enjoyed this comp. It’s not because of the rank, not about the total points — but how I felt my body move, how my fingers stayed on, and how I felt at some moments, I was just flowing (except for slab bwahaha).

In last year’s Rocka, I was a ball of nerves — this year, I really felt light. What I did not send was not anymore for a lack of trying, but most likely a skill issue 😜

I hope we all get stronger together 🙌 And continue to just have fun (sabi nga ni @ranatrono!!!)

Road to masters category in a few years 😂😂😂

I had a clear picture of how I wanted February 2025 to look like. Despite being (slightly) unhinged at times, buti na lang naitawid naman natin.
