I’m thrilled to share that myself and the band are going on a U.K. tour this summer!! I’m still processing it tbh 😁 ..I’m really grateful for all the support i’ve recieved and continue to recieve. Performing live is the truly the icing on the cake and I’m really excited to see you once again to share new and old tunes. It’s been a minute and life also took the wheel but it’s now time to share much of the journey with you LIVE!. We have prepared something truly special for you to witness. Again thank you and looking forward to seeing you on tour.

Tickets are now available (link in bio).

I’m grateful to have the incredibly talented U.K. producer and rapper @caesar.ape and the amazing Berlin based artist @marshallvincent.flac joining us, alongside other special guests to be announced throughout the tour.

Three years in the making, and my debut album, Heavy Water Blues, is finally out in the world. It no longer belongs to just me, it belongs to you.

The road to this record was heavy and often painful, but it was through that exact weight that I found my footing and reclaimed my strength. My only hope now is that these songs serve as an anchor, bringing comfort, peace, and light to anyone walking through their own dark waters.

A body of work like this takes a village, and I’m endlessly indebted to the incredible souls who helped breathe life into it:

To the architects of the sound: @dj.tsome and @caesar.ape for the craft and vision behind the production. To my brother @yvesrousselstudio, thank you for pouring every ounce of your soul into this.

To the artists who lent their brilliance to this offering: @bakermoonrecords, @andrewbakermusic, Ricky Ranking, and @europeancanon.

To my band—the heart and backbone: @luanandonly, @rintaro_iwa, @tk._.tristen, @andrearaujo353, and @caesar.ape. Thank you for the relentless work and the love you pour into every note. Extra love and gratitude to @corriedick, @rasielaldamatrumpet, and Pol Padros for your musicianship.

To the creative minds who shaped the world around the music: @dmitripryahin for your extraordinary eye on the artwork, posters, and photos; @maral.fard for sharing your visual world with me; @ovaloconceptstore and @corentinchristian for the custom wardrobe; and @flipso.k for keeping the spirit alive throughout the studio sessions. Thank you @robbrandon_ @isabelledohmen.art for capturing the truth!

To the team in my corner: @kartelmusicgroup, thank you for standing by me and offering unwavering support over the years. To my brother resting in peace @jayhaze.fpony @jaayhaze I miss you! Thank you for opening my eyes! ❤️- To my manager, @lostartjon, thank you for believing in the vision before anyone else could see it.

And most of all, to everyone who presses play, shares a track, and shows up to the live shows, none of this breathes without you.

Heavy Water Blues is streaming everywhere now. Dive in.

“We Have to Face the Pain to Unlock Healing”: Jeff Darko Reveals His Soul on Daring Debut ‘Heavy Water Blues,’ a Spellbinding Vision of Psychedelic Gospel (@jeffdarko)
—
British-Ghanaian singer/songwriter Jeff Darko builds his breathtakingly eclectic debut album ‘Heavy Water Blues’ from heartbreak, longing, and the search for connection, bringing his trailblazing “Psychedelic Gospel” sound to life as he reveals his soul in a radiant, shape-shifting rush of music that’s as spiritual as it is daringly experimental. What begins with a sudden breakup opens into a deeper reckoning with male loneliness and childhood hurt, as Darko moves through rage, desire, prayer, resistance, and surrender in pursuit of healing. The result is as bold as it is beautiful: A spellbinding, emotionally charged debut that follows pain to its source and lets every shift in feeling reshape the music around it.
.
“We can’t fully get our healing if we don’t confront our pain.”
.
“The letting go is not giving up. It is the bravest thing on the album.”
.
“This is the clarity. This is where it all makes sense. The reason this pain has always been so deep, the reason every woman who leaves triggers something almost unbearable is because it was never just about her.”
.
“It helped me release pain and helped me understand the root of my pain… Pain is real and we have to face the pain to unlock healing.”
.
