Five Years ago: Started April 24th, 2021 - No longer on ECMO Life Support: The day after my Birthday recovering in the heart hospital and mindful, grateful and thankful of each new day the Lord God has blessed me with.. Never take your life, your day for granted that God has blessed you with. 🙏🏻💕🙏🏻🫶

Thank you everyone for the incredible Birthday wishes, messages, calls, prayers, love and kindness shown to me on my special day. ❤️🙏🏻

These past 5 years have truly been a journey filled with challenges, growth, healing, gratitude and the overwhelming goodness and mercy of God. Looking back on all that I’ve walked through, I’m humbled and thankful beyond words to still be here celebrating life, friendship, family and faith.

Praise God for His grace, His protection, His healing power and His perfect timing. Thank You Jesus for carrying me through the darkest moments and for continuing to shape and build in me the man You desire me to be.

I’m deeply grateful for each one of you who took the time to encourage me and celebrate with me. Your thoughtfulness meant more than you know. ❤️

Good Friday:

“By His Wounds”

The sky churns in restless shades of gray and fire, as though heaven itself is holding its breath.

A broken figure “The Son of God, Jesus Christ our Sacrifice and Redeemer” hangs against the wood—bloodied, torn, yet unwavering.

His chest rises with labored breaths. Each inhale a struggle. Each exhale a surrender.

The wind whispers across the hill, carrying dust, grief… and something deeper—purpose.

He lifts His eyes.

Not in defeat… but in resolve.

The world below trembles in silence.

Time slows.

And then—like a voice echoing across eternity—the words resound:

“But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.”
— Bible, Isaiah 53:5

A single drop of blood falls…

Not wasted.

Redeeming.

The storm above breaks with light piercing through the clouds—subtle, but undeniable.

Well it was a really great time flying in to Celebrate the Blessing of my Dad’s 91st Birthday, and hang out, sharing his past experiences, some laughter, plus a good time to celebrate his life as we hit the gym for his workout routine! Surprised my Dad at his favorite spot for smoked salmon—Logan’s in Owasso!

What a blessing it is to see him happy, smiling, and doing so well. Even though he’s facing a small bout of dementia, he’s handling it with strength. I’m so grateful for my older brother Eddy and his wife Gerry for taking such great care of him during the week and weekends—I’m truly blessed to have them.

Dad and I are heading to the gym early tomorrow morning for a workout, then breakfast together—just like old times. 💕💪🏻👍
