Director @auroraflorence talks about what it was like to develop a film following two people on a journey through grief and finding love again.

“Too Soon” follows Freya, a former singer-songwriter turned elementary music teacher, and Gus, a professional music producer. Both of them are coming off being terminal caregivers, sorting through young widowhood, and embarking on solo-parenting their young kids.

Both Freya and Gus have to ask themselves if they have the courage to fall in love again.

Watch this World Premiere on October 16 & 17 or stream it virtually during #HFF35. 🔗 Link in bio.

Would you trust this guy with your money? 😂
Here's me as Mr. Lewis, the hoity-toity banker in The Sheriffs of Savage Wells. Such a fun world—I actually want to live in that town!
It's a wonderful Western romantic comedy that I highly recommend! Watch it on Amazon.
Fantastic cast and crew! Written by the amazing @sarah_m_eden, directed by @mainstaypro, and featuring the fantastic talents of @ryannrinabailey and @jeffdflorence.

Another friend in the front seat. Welcome, Esther!

One of our favorite things about making an independent film has been discovering that the movie is only part of what you end up making.

You make a film, duh. But somewhere along the way, you also make friendships, inside jokes, questionable decisions, and drink an unspeakable amount of caffeine.

There are so many amazing humans behind the making of Too Soon. Front Seat Friends continues to be our way of introducing you to a few of them.

But in reality it’s a lot more like watching Paddington 2.

Welcome to the first ride!

We’re kicking off our Front Seat Friends series with Mariah—someone who believed in Too Soon from the beginning, helped fund the film, and jumped in on set to make it happen.

So we grabbed a treat, hit the road, and talked about filmmaking, friendship, and everything in between. We can’t wait for you to meet more of the incredible humans who helped bring this film to life. ❤️
