My grandfather, a massive figure in my life and an incredible human, Robert “Bob” Netupski passed away after 92 amazing years of life.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War, helped run the New Britain Herald in Connecticut, before retiring to Vero Beach, Florida in the early 1990’s.

In retirement he had more hobbies than you could shake a stick at. He golfed, fished, metal detected, road his bike, painted, attempted to learn Spanish, and so much more, all while making sure to put down a few cold ones, buy thousands of scratch tickets, and smoke a few cigars.

I’m thankful for all of the laughs, the hundreds of rounds of golf, the movies we saw together, the Christmas mornings we shared, and so much more… including the fact he was as funny as it gets and probably taught me too many curse words at a young age lol.

There was no bigger fan in the world of what I do than Bob. He will be missed greatly, but it’s impossible to not be appreciative of how full of a life he lived, and that I got to share 34 years of it with him.

Hopefully wherever he is now, he’s playing some golf with my dad (and trying to improve his lie in the rough).

Rest in peace, Bob. by @jeffdlowe

Didn’t drop the ring off the cliff, so that was good. Excited for “forever,” @elizabethlois.

I found a cool office hack on Instagram for tracking your to-do list and daily tasks. So I cooked up a version for my home office and it’s kind of awesome. Shoutout to @jwalter1337 for the inspiration and help. taken in Cedar Park, Texas by @jeffdlowe

Lived my lifelong dream of being the “first guy who knows it’s gone” for a big home run at a baseball game, and got to cheer on Team USA (nothing better). What a night. 🇺🇸 #worldbaseballclassic taken in Daikin Park by @jeffdlowe
