Our very first leachianus baby we produced! It has been a wild 72 hours with this one. Checked on our eggs on Sunday night as we do am, mid day, and pm to make sure all is well. We quickly learned something was wrong due to the egg having spots where it wasn’t calcified enough so a hole had happened and began to leak badly. We had to make the executive decision to cut open the egg to hopefully save their life (a few weeks too early) and baby was still attached to umbilical cord. We made sure nostrils were clear and able to breathe and constantly had to check for life on this one. We truly didn’t think they were going to make it due to the state they were in. But thankfully they pulled through! Baby got moved into her sanitary tub with cork and woke up to find her on it this morning. Will be giving this girl a lot of extra TLC and love to help growth due to being pre mature. I am in awe of how strong and incredible reptiles are. Sometimes nature takes its course but I’m so glad she’s here! (Incubated for female) welcome to the world baby💚 incredibly thankful for my little community I can trust with all the advice they have to give us! This was our first leachianus project and wanted to see how the process was, so enjoy our odd ball pairing 😆GTX X BAYO X MORO💚 #leachianus #leachie #gecko #reptile #reptilesofinstagram by @jeffdyck

Emma has woken up and watched the Tour de France with me almost every morning of the entire race this year. We’ve been doing this since she was a newborn but this was the first year she was truly invested. Definitely a highlight of the summer. Her favorite rider is @richardcarapaz (nice choice) and she loves a good aggressive attack off the front! by @jeffdyck
