❌SPOILERS for DCC BOOK 6! ❌ (and apologies to Oasis fans because this won't make a damn bit of sense to you. Don't look at this with..anger.)

Here's an idea for @soundbooththeater (the whole song is done, maybe I'll share it later…) 🤷🏻‍♂️

For my fellow #dungeoncrawlercarl fans, here’s “I Am Psamathe” which debuted on Sunday’s The Tutorial Guild livestream on @geekscapeforever

The song was co-written by @mattdinniman without his knowledge. I’ve already written three more that I’m looking forward to sharing with the crawlers on my tunnel.

There’s way more #litrpg DCC songs where this one came from. by @jeffersonbergey

It's not a musical.
It's not a rock opera.
It's not a concept album.

(But if you enjoy any of those mediums, this might be for you)

It's original #musicfiction told in confessions and songs.

The single, "The Rhythm of the Road" comes out on all streaming services on 2/6/26 from the full length album titled Ruby's Rhythm of the Road: Part I which arrives at the end of February. It’s the first half of the full story….

This song features the talents of:
@julesleyhe : slide guitar
@makeyourselfheard : drums
@gawainmathews : upright bass/ engineering magic

This trailer features the talents of
@justin_oltesvig : artwork
@b1.music : animation
@meredithmchenry : the voice of Ruby's confessions

Join my #patreon (for FREE) and hear Ruby's first confession coming out later today...

Is the the last Bawdy Storytelling?

(Let's hope not.)

Bawdy returns to the Verdi Club on Friday November 6 with a fantastic lineup! Join us! Tickets are in the bio.

🧨🦶🏻🦶🏻🧨 “I Am Psamathe” is now available for FREE on my Bandcamp page. (Neeeew Achievement!)

From the soon-to-hopefully-be-officially-released EP, #betacarl Volume 1: I Am Psamathe

@mattdinniman wrote most of the lyrics in #dungeoncrawlercarl The Butcher’s Masquerade. Maybe someday he’ll let me put this on the streaming services, but until then, I do not want anyone’s illicit butthole money.

Features @makeyourselfheard on drums
@yates_erik on banjo
@gawainmathews on upright bass/ mandolin/ production
@janeeceaisha hair/makeup/fangs/ears/vibes

I had to talk to @johnrubio from @hellocrawlers about making original #dungeoncrawlercarl music and the challenge of releasing it the right way on the recent episode of @thetutorialguilddcc

(The music is an instrumental clip of “The Eye Of The Bedlam Bride” from the soon-to-be-released #BetaCarl Volume 1: I am Psamathe EP) by @jeffersonbergey

🧨🦶🏻🦶🏻🧨 Thanks again to @johnrubio of @hellocrawlers for such a fun conversation on Sunday’s @thetutorialguilddcc livestream!

(We’ll be sharing more clips from our chat)

We revealed the artwork ( @undreadriot3d FTW!) for my #dungeoncrawlercarl EP #betacarl volume 1: I Am #Psamathe and forced Rubio to listen to the title track. (It might have been more torturous for me) #iwkym by @jeffersonbergey

#MikeDitka was “Coach” to more than just his football players. That’s what we called him too.

One of my last restaurant gigs was working at his restaurant in Chicago for seven years leading up to me relocating to the Bay Area. He was gracious, kind, and hilarious. There was a plaque in one of the private dining rooms that listed his accolades and at the bottom of the list it read “Best Dancer in America”

I didn’t know it then, but hearing @johnvincentlive sing Sinatra songs five nights a week up in the Cigar Bar, planted a seed in me that I didn’t even realize was there. Now I’m also on stages singing those songs. He gave me advice that I’ll never forget and I’m still very grateful for.)

Watching Coach patiently speaking and taking pictures with thousands of people over the years, he really lived the words that he shared at many speaking engagements.

“Attitude.
Character.
Enthusiasm.”

That was his recipe for success. He also pummeled everyone in his way, but he left that part out of his inspirational speeches. Look him up as a player on YouTube. The guy was a BEAST. “Pain doesn’t bother me much”

When I came back to visit Chicago after my first year away, I returned to the restaurant. (Mostly to see my old pals from the side-station trenches and to eat pot roast nachos), but he happened to be there that night. I decided to say hi to Coach. He grabbed me around my neck with one of his catcher-mitt hands…

MD: Hey didn’t you move to California?

Me: Yeah, Coach.

MD: What part?

Me: Nothern California.

MD: Oh I don’t like it there.

Me: I know, Coach.

Needless to say, the Bay was always a little too…liberal for Coach’s tastes. I told him I was out there making music. He wished me luck, took a picture with me, and that was the last time I saw him.

I’m so grateful for everything I learned over those years at that restaurant. I also met a sleuth of celebrities, sports figures, politicians, and the best football fans in the world. (NOT the Bears fans, btw)

I even met Ryne Sandberg, my childhood hero. May he also RIP. I also met some pretty incredible people that I worked alongside and I’m still in touch with today.

RIP Coach. by @jeffersonbergey

TUNE INTO OUR TUNNEL ON SUNDAY! by @jeffersonbergey

DID YOU MISS THE SINATRA SALOON SHOW ON FRIDAY?!

Welp. Sorry it sold out on ya if you tried to get tickets too late. Here’s a clip of a story I told. (But @meredithmchenry got to deliver this amazing quote) And yes. Ava did say all this… 👀

Thanks to all who came out for the show. It was a beautiful night of tales and tunes!
