Two years sober today.

I’ve now celebrated both of my anniversaries on the road, which is crazy because early on I was completely convinced that quitting drinking meant I had to sacrifice my career in music. My “edge” was on the chopping block, which, transparently, I believed for years and consciously chose not to address. So if booze had to go, so did the dream.

Fast forward, I was dead wrong. Turns out the dream was just waiting for me to get my shit together before it would dare turn into reality.

The last two years have been a rollercoaster - high highs and low lows - through it all, one of the many gifts I’ve received is a sense of gratitude I never thought possible. Every day is a gift. Every note is a gift. And turns out, being wrong is a gift, too.

I love you, I love life, run it back. ❤️

My brother @whoisfuller dropped “Two Steps” today! We wrote this one a while back with @joeyfrendomusic which was such a cool worlds colliding moment for me. Fuller and I have written approximately one billion songs together, and its such a gift be a part of this dudes story. The dawg of all dawgs @itsjakepuliti smashed the production on this one
