I have no words to even start with to comprehend what @ozzyosbourne has meant to me and so many others. I was fortunate to get to audition for OZ in 2006 and will always be immensely thankful for the times I got to meet him. His music changed my life when I first heard it and is still on daily rotation with me today. Thank you for giving us guitar players Tony, Brad, Randy, Jake and Zakk to learn from and to emulate.Thank you so much Ozzy for being you, you are a true Legend and an icon! I’m gonna keep this short.. John Sykes passed away today after a long battle with cancer. John was a great friend, an amazing musician whom could sing and play his ass off and an awesome human. We use to sit for hours playing through old @marshallamps in our never ending search for the great ones. In the last picture, you’ll see john’s iconic Les paul sitting on my bed… That one day he didn’t feel like taking home so he left at my house for nearly 2 weeks… That was the kind of guy he was if he trusted you. Those who know me well, have heard some of the unbelievable stories that I’ve shared as told to me by John. He lived an amazing life. But one important thing I want to point out is.. John took a lot of shit over the years for not being available or not being out in the “public” playing, something I get a lot as well. But rest assured that neither of us ever stopped playing, creating, playing on other peoples albums and most importantly playing for ourselves which is where it all starts. He chose happiness! I’m very honored to have known and had a part of John in my life. Thank you Legend for all you have given all of us… #zips 🙏🏻❤️🏆🎸💯 #johnsykes @johnsykesofficial by @jeffgeorgemusic
