Animals of the Memphis Zoo.

A few captures from the exhibits. Memphis actually has an impressive zoo for a city no bigger than it is. It’s worth a trip if you get the chance.

Dialing up nostalgia.

What used to be ubiquitous is now almost completely obsolete. The cellphone has nearly led to the pay phone’s extinction so I’ve recently set out on a new mission to document them and discovered just how hard they are to find. If you know of one, operational or not, send me its location so I can photograph it before it disappears.

In celebration of tonight’s college football national championship game played in Miami and coincidentally featuring the Miami Hurricanes here are a few pics I took from around the city and the zoo a few years back.

It kinda resembles a Christmas tree 🌲

Not everyone celebrates Christmas or even the holiday season. Families are different, cultures are different, religions are different, and individuals are different. This time of year can also be difficult for those who have an empty seat or multiple empty seats at the table. That is all okay. The holiday season is what one chooses to make it. There shouldn’t be a “war” on someone else’s beliefs. So, for however you celebrate or not, merry Christmas, happy holidays or whatever!🎄🕎🎁☪️❄️☯️☃️

Winter sunset.

This image of a sunset in Arizona is straight out of camera (SOOC) without editing. To me, it resembles the Arizona state flag. It’s easy to see where the creators of the flag got their inspiration.

20 years ago today.

This image of the Clinton Library in Little Rock was the first picture I ever sold. I set out to capture an image of the building at sunset but never expected to get paid for it. This image was ultimately used in a brochure for ThermaFiber which was the company that made the insulation used in the library’s construction. The image was also featured as the primary photo for quite a while when searching for the library on Google Maps.
