Bird talk openings……Ice box will be a gourmet market concept, Miami Slice Panther takeover will be a sushi/temaki bar, AVO taking over Kissaki in South Point, Coucou from Dubai taking over Juvia, Ink Hospitality from Toronto converting Yard House on Lenox to a Supper Club. Bird Poop…….Greedy Pura Vida Landlord on West End wanted too much rent for business to make sense so they had to leave. Bal Harbour Grill (Hillstone) was only offered a 4.5 year extension because the Landlord is demolishing their space to construct new residential towers (if approved) and they are putting a barricade in front of the restaurant which will block the entire restaurant for construction to replace the elevator. Not ideal conditions to operate a restaurant. And there you now have the real bird poop !!! taken in Miami Beach, Florida by @jefflagowitz

Nothing like a “White Manna” style “Tuesday Burger” with “Monday Sauce”@cheesesteakforsale And why “Tuesday Burger”? It’s a Popeye Cartoon reference. And why “Monday Sauce” ? Cause I make it on Monday and I can’t call it “Sunday Sauce” because my friends @frescobyscotto got that covered !!! It’s not on the menu yet but ya never know !!!!! taken in Cheesesteak For Sale by @jefflagowitz

Mike’s Amagansett Seafood Store AKA “The ASS Club” Mike is, was and always will be one of the most iconic friends I have ever had. Our friendship was very unique and hard to explain. I am honored to have been inducted into the ASS club after 3 years of trying !! We will all miss his smile, his rudeness, his antics, his voice, early morning Peroni’s and Chelsea football games, tequila shots, “ass-tini’s”, trashing customers who don’t get what “fresh fish” means, September fish tacos with the best mango chutney ever, the BEST lobster salad in the Hamptons !! I will surely miss his friendship ❤️ R.I.P. Mike O’Rourke ! taken in Amagansett Seafood Store by @jefflagowitz
