Shout out to writer/actor Dominic Oliver,writer/producer Kaenan Oliver, and veteran actor/ Director Donald Watson. Thank you for the trust and hire by bringing me on this wild ride with you all. I had a blast! These films are done very well and are very entertaining. Thanks to the amazing cast and crew that I had the luxury to work with, too. by @jeffmakeup67

It has been some time since I have worked on a film. The script called for a character makeup, beauty makeups and corrective makeups and some light hair work. Therefore, I brought everything except the kitchen sink! A makeup artist worse fear is needing a product that you either do not have, misplaced, lost or forgotten or was meant to purchase because you were out of that product. Like packing your clothes the night before to catch an early morning flight, making it on time to the airport .. I never can sleep before a shoot. Never. To show up and do your best work as a Professional. To meet the daily challenges in the makeup trailer or on the set. No matter how many times, how many years I have worked as a makeup artist...I still welcome those Happy, Gracious, Butterflies that flutter around in my stomach. #professionalmakeupartist#makeupartist#onsetmakeupartist#makeupartistry#makeupandhairstylingguild#local706#filmmakeup#makeupkit#workingmakeupartist#makeupcareer#passion#grateful#blessed#film#television#charactermakeup#correctivemakeup#makeupprofession#actor#actress#onlocation by @jeffmakeup67

Ear application for a Woodland Elf. Found this old pic of young me. My '1st prosthetic ears' application. I remember coming across a funky strange looking pair of foam prosthetic ears in a discounted bin at a professional supplies makeup store. I thought the ears would make a rather unique species of elf that I never seen before in a movie back then. This was pre Lord of the Rings movies.Myself, along with some industry friends, decided one day to do a Middle Earth fantasy J.R R. Token shoot. I remember, Lots of Smoke in a Can purchased. We shot this near a small forested area located on a Art Branch Campus. Hey, Elves like to further their education, too.#foamprostheticappliances#prostheticmakeup#specialeffectsmakeupartist#filmproduction#filmmakeup#specialmakeupeffects#charactermakeup#elf#fantasycreatures#J.R.R.Tolkien#LordoftheRings#middleearthelves#film#filmshoot#theatre#photography#actor#actress#Hollywood#art#painting#wilderness by @jeffmakeup67

Lincoln Day : Today, In the United States of America , we celebrate Abraham Lincoln's Birthday. Here is a makeup and hand laid beard application I did for an actors representation of Abe. This is for a Reenactment of Lincoln giving his infamous "Declaration of Independence" speech. Abraham Lincoln is considered by many historians as one of the Greatest American Presidents. His Presidency was from March 4 1861-April 15 1865. On the evening of April 14 1865, at the Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC. Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth , Lincoln died the next morning. #professionalmakeupartist#makeupartist#charactermakeup#makeup#actor#actress#civilwarreenactment#AbrahamLincoln#historians #declarationofindependence#presidentoftheunitedstates#presidentassasinations#abolishslavery#onsetmakeup#civilwar#unionsoldiers#handlaidbeards#local706#michaelvincentacademy#freedom#hollywood#motionpicture#television#theatre by @jeffmakeup67

A 'Bucket list' memory accomplished. Priviledge of being interviewed by Erin Gray. Back in 1979, a Science Fiction television series titled : Buck Rodgers in the 25 Century aired on TV. It ran for 2 seasons ending in 1981. At that time, I had a major crush on the actress Erin Gray who played the character Colonel Wilma Deering . I never missed an episode. Well, one day I met Veteran actress Mara Purl. I helped her with makeup and we discussed makeup artistry for "on camera" actors. She told me her and Erin Gray was writing a book for beginning actors . The "New buzz" and Fear in hollywood, during that time, was the topic of High Definition Red Camera's and implementing so called " High Definition" makeup. She, and with Erin's approval, would very much like to interview me. I accepted the offer. I gathered my data and research . I gave my personal opinions on the High Def. phenomenon and I shared my own makeup experiences working then on Red camera shoots. ...Nervous and school boy Gitty, The interview process ran smooth and ended Great ... with Erin Gray's laughter over my teenage crush on her and then Erin presenting me with a nice BIG HUG and a kiss on my cheek . I might add that Erin Gray still looks Amazingly Beautiful! #professionalmakeupartist#makeupartist#highdefinitionmakeup#highdefinitionfilmmaking#filmmakeup#televisionmakeup#highdefinitionredcamera's#ErinGray#BuckRogersinthe25Century#actressMaraPurl#makeupartistsandhairstylistsguild#MichaelVincentAcademy#makeuptechniques#hollywoodbeauty#visionboards#manifest#dreams#sciencefictiontelevision#onsetmakeup#schoolboycrush#1979-1981television#actor#actress#oncameramakeupartist by @jeffmakeup67
